How many premine coins?
How is NAV better than PIVX/DASH/MONERO?

Please join the slack channel.there are many answers you need

I don't have the time to register at slack, I think it'll be the interest of many for someone to explain in detail why this coin is better than the three coins listed above. If it's not better, then why would I invest?

Also, I would like to know about the premine, this is a big factor before I invest.

its not deterministic like that. Stake varies considerably everyday and even the whole year you don't know what you end up with. Even if on average it is 5% for the whole of the money supply.

But yeah, all you need to do is send nav to wallet and leave it on. You need to have it on all the time to maximize profit

by this do you mean to just have the wallet open on your desktop? or are there any other settings to change in the new wallet?

If it is protected by passphrase, You need to unlock it to the staking mode! Watch out to only unlock for staking and not for sending,  for your own security.

Follow your heart.
Isn' t NAV coin the only coin that doesn't require a minimum amount of coin in the wallet to start staking?

For example:
PIVX needs 10k coins
DASH need 1k coins
etc..

well, in practice an amount of about 10000 would be required to give you a couple of NAV in a 24h period.
At least thats my estimate from my stakes

But you will get 5% reward by the end of the year. So that will be 500 NAV by the end of the year if I am correct (if you have 10k coins)?

All what I need to do is do my calculation to make profit, buy the certain amount of NAV coins and start staking?

I got another question is there a Max stake ? (that motivates people to have medium size blocks to keep the staking moving along at an even pace?)
PM me for example coin(s) that do this I don't wanna advertise other coins in here Smiley

It doesnt matter what size your inputs come in. In time, with staking, the wallet will break the blocks down to small pieces and use them optimally

Things are looking Great Smiley very nice job NAV team.

I got a couple of  questions though how do I setup a NAVTech node ? (the new Nav Coin Core 4.0.0 one)
Will I be able to run those of a PI 2 or 3 ?
Is the Pi image only for Pi 3 or does it work with PI 2 as well as I recall there is not much difference between those.

Again Great work guys looking good.

Great update! I really like the direction this is going with being so easily accessible to everyone.

I am very interested in running a NavPi. But I do not own one yet.

Do I purchase a standard Raspberry Pi 3 or are you releasing a custom version? I am in UK.

I also want to buy one of the NavPi's
Navy team - Please tell how we do so
Many thanks

Hi mate. You need to buy your own unit, the Dev team will provide an PI "image" that you will install in your unit.

This one will do:

How many coins do you need to get a return of proof of stake?

Edit: Slack channel helped me out. Awesome community and fast response! Thanks guys.

Can you please share the answer?

Yes, my bad.

You can start staking with any amount of NAV Coin. Once you hit a block you get paid.
The ROI will be 5% a year of the amount of cash you have in your wallet.
