The code from the Navajo Code Talkers was Unbreakable.
This was the reason for the name Navajo.
Btw. I liked the name because it has a good story behind.

hmm, a meaningless name...ok
The coin has already been rebranded once in 2014 (from summercoin v2 to Navajo).
Then it was forced practically to rebrand a second time because of supposed complaints by the Navajo tribe. I don't really believe it was the tribe that had a problem (or even knew about the coin in the first place), but probably a bunch of trolls. Regardless, better to be safe, they rebranded again to plain NAV.
It's the easiest way to avoid confusion as no changes are needed to be performed in the markets. Being a meaningless name is no big deal.
I suppose a backronym could be invented. Something like "Neutral Anomymous Value" has been suggested in the past.

Yep! We will be live streaming on periscope but also using a mounted video camera to record the evening which will then be posted up the next day via YouTube.
We will also be publishing press releases which outline the road map immediately after the event.

other. ETH has been POW from the beginning yet has needed 4 hard forks in 3 months along with a 300% price drop. Now ETH

Who is everyone?
POS is ecofriendly (no need to use mining power)
POS gives you a % in the coins you hold (5% NAV)
POS takes away the power of the miners (China hello?)
The more people participating in POS stage the more secure the network is.

my Nav wallet has been staking like this since yesterday, and I noticed the coins I got from the nav faucet a few mins ago wasn't sent in my wallet like it normally does. Is this normal?

No, your wallet has forked the chain.
Delete all blockchain data (keep your wallet.dat) in %appdata% , download the most recent blockchain from the official site and sync again. You should be fine
thanks I just restarted the wallet, it's back to normal now
