Hey everyone! The details and timeline for the next Netkoin token holders airdrop are finally here! All the details required to participate can be found below.
We have decided to reward Netkoin token holders with an airdrop on Monday 25 June, 2018. In order to be eligible, you will need to meet the following criteria:
Your Netkoin balance in a given ETH address must be 800,000 NTK or greater before Monday June 25, 2018 at 7:00am GMT (UTC).
If your balance is 800,000 Netkoin (NTK) or greater by the deadline, you will receive 400,000 Netkoin (NTK) in your wallet.
Our team will get all balances data of Netkoin token holders from https://etherscan.io website on Monday June 25, 2018 at 7:00am GMT (UTC). These balances will form the basis of the airdrop distribution which will be conducted by the Netkoin team.
Any balances after the above date will not be considered for this airdrop.
Distribution will begin after the snapshot date and will take up to 1 week. The spreadsheet of eligible participants will be shared once the snapshot is taken.

Welcome to the second development update for the Netkoin project. The Netkoin team has been busy with multiple aspects of the project including: airdrops, exchange listings, marketing and development.
Netkoin’s community growth has remained rapid and constant, and we expect this to continue. This development update is to announce the release of the alpha version of Netkoin’s location based mobile advertising application (Testnet).
Netkoin’s development team has made significant progress with the development of the alpha version of Netkoin’s mobile app. Therefore, the release of the alpha version is set for Q2 June 2018. The exact date in June in which the alpha version of the mobile app will be available for download and testing for the public will be announced closer to launch.
The alpha version of the mobile app is a testnet aimed to showcase many of the features in a test environment. It will be an opportunity for the community to see part of Netkoin ecosystem in action. At this stage only, the Android version will be released in Q2 June 2018. More details about the release of the IOS version will be available in future development updates.
This is also an opportunity for the community to provide our development team feedback, feature requests and recommended improvements. We will have a feedback system in place once the testnet goes live.
Originally the wallet For Netkoin’s Location Based Mobile Application was to be released in Q2 June 2018 on its own. The development team has decided that the wallet for Netkoin’s location based mobile application will be instead implemented in later versions of the location based mobile application. The purpose of the upcoming alpha version of Netkoin’s mobile app is to showcase the features that will be available to users when shopping and how they will utilise the mobile app to interact with retail businesses.
A walkthrough and explanations of each feature and function of the alpha version of Netkoin’s location-based advertising mobile app, will be outlined in a detailed development update. This development update will be released alongside the launch of the mobile app (alpha version).
