The price of the coin has been fluctuating a lot lately. What is the point of staking if the daily price variation is higher than monthly profits? Maybe this works only for long time holders. Has anybody really made significant profits out of NETKO?

I think for a lot of the smaller and lesser-known alt coins, a high stake serves as an incentive to (in)vest people into the coin and promote it's spread and (hopefully) adaptation on the peer-to-peer transaction network outside of exchanges.  Holding the coin, while reducing exchange liquidity, does have the benefit of maintaining some degree of price stability.  Staking also does mean that wallets are open on the network to process transactions, so there's that as well.

From my perspective, it's about getting a payout while waiting for the coin to spread in awareness and use for P2P transactions.

It doesent mater.
You can put all at one time.
As man said after some time it will take some small amount of coin to find a block.
When I was haveing 8k after some time I never have more then 1k locked.
Even when found three block a day I still have 7k mature coins

Weigth is how many coins is on staking.
So Netko gain weigth if everybody who staking keep they  new coins
Inside your wallet you do not need to do enything
Yes every newly genereted coin need 301 confirmation to be mature

Wait,

I've looked at the rich list: people with 20-25K Netko verify 3-4 blocks per day.

But, from what I've seen, let's say I have 10K Netko:

Normally I should be able to verify 2 blocks per day right  Smiley

But, what happens in the wallet is that as soon as I find a block "1", my whole TOTAL Netko that are in my wallet become "immature"

It is like my whole balance has been utilised to stake 1 block

So it doesn't matter if I have 7k or 80k in my wallet, since the first block I find will "use" all of my Netko to make them "immature" for 301 blocks.

So this is what I don't understand

How can people stake 3 blocks per day? (with one address as they do)

Thank you, I hope it was clear enough Smiley

The wallet will break the balance into smaller chunks with time. It will take a while to adjust and reach your longterm PoS rate.

For example, in my case, I put all coins into my wallet in 5000 chunks.
After each stake, the wallet breaks it in two. So now I have lots of 2500 and 1250 chunks (actually a little higher because they include the stake profits too)

I don't know for how long it will keep breaking them up or if it stops after reaching an optimal amount

If I understand , They thinking to introduce coin into Iot.

Ok. Wondering why they launch their own blockchain. I guess they have some plans to really build part of their business model upon their blockchain in the future.

What's a lot?
Do you change the nodes everyday?

and do you gain more weight with this coin if you don't stake 1 day?

I dont change a node, it really depend upon the network weight and how many coins you have.

Very good coins in staking, I'm earning 75 to 100 coins per day.... Great project, hold and be rewarded.

What is your total balance to earn this amount daily?

I have 21,000 netko coins as of today
