If developers aren't finding the time to develop the coin what assurance do we have that they will stay on to support the coin after launch.  This doesn't sound that promising to me.

Hey jake, dont worry about that in the first place - there are no developers.

this "project" (or shall I say text) is a one-man thing by a Carlos Perez (frictionlesscoin)... he was debunked a hundred times here in the forum and is known troll. I would not fall for this

best regards

There really is nothing to fall for yet as he hasn't asked for any donations or funding.

Is this project still on? Have your plans changed since the source code has been published? Or is it dead?

Yes, project still on going.  Development had slowed down a bit because of developers other commitments.  But the architecture is quite promising and unique.

That's nice to hear. Are there no developers available/intersted in your project or haven't you just asked around?

We have not solicited for developers here on BTT.

Developers are very expensive these days.  Once the coin is launched there would be plenty more funds for this.

The one thing that makes projects like Bitshares and Etherium so promising is that developers have made the project their full time job.  I know that's probably not possible in the case of NEX, but to say they have other commitments and development has slowed down makes me rethink my Nxt allocation or support after launch.  I'm looking forward to your response.

So this is the MAIN development thread, FC ?
It's a little bit busy for my tastes, I'll come back when it's quieter.

Made good progress over the weekend.

We are ready to begin implementation of the mini-block chain scenario combined with the GHOST protocol.

Furthermore,  we will validate if the OldBlue specification is preserved for this implementation.

Exciting times folks!

I would like to join the project. Where should I send my NXTs to?

We don't accept coins.

Only time and effort.

Please call it another name, not TNG. Useless or ugly one

Well any suggestions on a name?

Right now, it isn't even a coin yet.

First there's a specification that needs to be put together.

Then there's a brand new implementation.

The idea however is to be able to build a platform for rapid experimentation of new coin features.

These potentially can indeed spawn out new coins.

There is a $20,000 bounty for the mini-block chain implementation, so possibly this could implement that and receive the bounty.
