I did a full preview of Beyond the Void on NewsBTC as part of a series about blockchain gaming: http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/02/05/blockchain-gaming-btv/

You can see it listed on my website at http://www.blockchaingaming.com/

Nice one! We're gonna need more of these to promote the game and send NXC to the moon Wink

Who knows, maybe there will be. Wink We're having a Beyond the Void guy on the blockchain gaming panel at CoinFest 2017, and they'll have a major presence at the Manchester event. They should help me set the game up in Vancouver and elsewhere, though; that would be cool

Soon we will see a lot of publicity for Beyond the Void, exhibitions, reviews, a lot of new video. This should attract more attention to the game and the online store and increase the flow of investments in this project. The NXC price is very stable and will grow over time, it is a good investment.

Agreed, and I'll even go so far as to say, people will look back and say oh, I should have bought more at 6K sat, that was cheap....   I don't think we'll see sub 5K again.

It is sub 5 right now, incase you want some more!
Not low enough yet.  I've got quiet a few already.  You know sub 5K means under 5000, right.  Like 4999?  not 5999.   Smiley

A nice list for what free download games for those who don't understand why this coin, and BTV could turn into something incredible.

Valve - CS GO, DOTA 1.5 Billion
Riot games - leauge of legends - 1.6 billion
King - CandyCrush - sold to Billzard for 5.9 billion
Rovio - Angry Birds - Recently rejected an offer for 2.25 billion
Kim kardashians game app - 200 million in revenue
Subway surfer developed by SYBO games - daily revenue $10K

Nice list! I think that Supercell is worth mentioning too (Clash of Clans developer). Last summer Chinese giant Tencent Holdings bought 84% stake in Supercell for $8.6 billion, which means that the whole company was worth $10.2 billion at the time. Not bad, huh?)

I am not familiar with all these games.  It would be interesting to see the revenue of each one of them and then see for how much they sold for those that sold.  I would bet that for some of those, sale prices relate less to revenue than to data obtained and network effect.
Compared to blockchain based games, how much games such as BtV the company or EDS sell won't matter to any of us as asset holders.  How much revenue BtV is making doesn't affect us either.  Only network effect matters to drive the price of our assets up in addition to assets' specification and cross game acceptance.  This is also assuming that BtV or EDS won't close door and shut down the game.  So far Huntercoin is the only fully decentralized game that cannot be shutdown.  I hope that future games will strive towards this goal.

The revenue runs through Nexium, you need it to use the market i.e. buying the skins and upgrades, every purchase is made with nexium.

Right, and half of each nexium used for the revenue will be sold on the market for bitcoins.  That creates a downward pressure on nexium price.

Where do you see that?
If only 50% of Nexiums used to buy assets are burned, then the balance will be sold for BTC and some of it for Fiat. We should hope that those nexiums will be sold daily rather than periodically so as not to create volatility in the price as we can see with BCY.
I also got a lot of questions regarding the infrastructure for the merchants.  Unlike with EDS that uses counterparty along with the existing infrastructure, BtV uses ETH.  Nexium and the related assets won't be trading on decentralized exchanges such as Tokenly, BOO, or Dex.  If we all rely on a centralized exchange that would suck.

I feel like its all really dependent of the popularity of the game, if you have 1,000 users it might be a problem if you have millions of users the burn actually helps the value even if there is a sell off.

The only reason I am holding Nexiums is because of what you just stated above.

i thought, that 50% nxc after each trade in game market shoul disappear, but not sell at markets for bitcoin.

50% will be burned.  The question is where will the other 50% go.  But even if they get sold for BTC, they came from BTC anyway, someone would have to "get" them to be able to spend them.

I wanted to try the game. Does anyone know when to go on the open beta?
Open beta starts 6th of April. For those who took part in the ICO, closed beta starts 23d of February, alongside with the launch of the BTV official shop. You can see the timeline here.

This actually confuse me how will they distribute access to the game.
Yesterday I updated my Ethereum wallet with 0.8.9. and as so many times in last year and a half it did not work. On 0.8.8. i easiyl loged in onyl a week ago.
So my guess is that you will need to test game by yourselves till I find out what is my this time  problem.  Tongue

PS: OMG i read 6th February and not April. I need more sleep. Well I have 2 weeks to find out what is this time.

Nice to hear it, man. Well-developed game and a lot of publicity is the key to success.
