The coin was originally a scam quit by the founding Dev. The coin has since become a community coin, we will make a difference from Nibex and other coins.

Blocks can be issued outside of network time (5 hours in one case) and the dev stated clearly that he has no intention of doing anything about it. I posted in #Suggestions in the Discord that there is no point in talking about use cases the for the coin then, and was swiftly banned from Discord.
Any use case for a coin MUST rely on blocks being issued with correct timestamps. Seems this is not a community coin after all, yet another coin with a dev acting as a dictator.

Make sure you update to the latest version of Nibex v2.3!

Pay Updated Masternodes Only
Spork + Protocol Enforcement.
This update is mandatory, only updated Masternodes will be paid.
Please update your Wallets and Masternodes immediately.

If you do - Delete the file before running the update.

Windows Wallet Update. For those running v2.2, Just replace the exe file.
If you are running a version older than 2.2 please follow the steps below.
Exit the wallet, Replace the nibex-qt.exe with v2.3, then go to your appdata folder backup the Nibex folder to another directory.
Now delete everything except [ wallet.dat, nibex.conf, and masternode.conf ] the folder should look like the attached picture.
Once you have done this open the wallet and let the blockchain download.
