I'm trying to point my S9's at NiceHash for SHA256 mining. I've got them behind a Stratehm stratum-proxy.

Unfortunately after running for about 30 minutes, I'm seeing a large percentage of rejects (around 30% now). The rejects seem to be duplicate shares:

Code:
2016-11-07 08:26:41,291 INFO     [Pool-NiceHash-Thread]:strat.mining.stratum.proxy.worker.StratumWorkerConnection - REJECTED share (diff: 32768.0) from [email protected] on NiceHash. Booo !!!!. Error: JsonRpcError [code_=22, message=Duplicate share., traceback=null]
2016-11-07 08:26:45,510 INFO     [Pool-NiceHash-Thread]:strat.mining.stratum.proxy.worker.StratumWorkerConnection - REJECTED share (diff: 32768.0) from [email protected] on NiceHash. Booo !!!!. Error: JsonRpcError [code_=22, message=Duplicate share., traceback=null]

I tried to work around this by playing with enabling and disabling extranonce and by setting a reasonable minimum difficulty. Nothing I change seems to help.

Any recommendations for reducing the rejects to a reasonable level?

I ended up bypassing the proxy and pointing my S9s directly at NiceHash (adding the #xnsub to the URL). That works fine with minimal rejects.

But it would be nice to be able to use my Stratehm proxy. Has anyone figured out how to use this proxy with NiceHash?

Pick and place? I need more coffee.
I have had three exactly 10 minute dropouts this morning.  I am a Miner/Seller of Equihash.  Has anyone else noticed this?

Go Big or Go Home.....
in https://www.nicehash.com/?p=calc for RX470 card showing Equihash 30 Sol/s
but in nicehashminer 1.7.3.3 i m getting 17 Sol/s why?

Because either it's a bad miner implementation by NH, or the miner is reporting  lower hash rates to pay you less, even though it's running at full speed in the background. Either way, use genoil's miner and you'll be much better off.

With the Zcash miner, I can't seem to get it to connect to any location unless I leave it blank (then it connects to EU by default)
If I use usa it says can't connect to usa:usa
If I try manually typing in the address and port, it seems like it tries to connect but then says either "end of file" then tries connecting again, or simply says it's trying to get work, but doesn't nothing and keeps running.
What command line would I use to connect to the US Zcash Nicehash server on linux?

Nicehash ZEC mining constantly making 110% of Calc - Wow.   Grin

No it ain't. I just switched to mining directly to a ZEC pool and I'm earning 30%+ more with the same miners vs NH miner.

I like the convenience of getting BTC directly on NH, but not at at 30% loss.

Any reason that nicehash's stats page/reported hash rate for Equihash are showing about 20-30% less than locally shown on the miners directly, with very minimal rejected shares?

Where? What miner are you using?

Why is it that everytime I try to rent Alive miners, they turn dead the moment the order goes though?
All my rentals have suddenly died and I have no idea why.

I suspect NiceHash is cheating a little bit. Maybe they use a part of equihash hashrate at a little price, or they have a bug in orders...
I take a look on equihash orders for over a hour. Very strange... There is big orders at little price, that constantly rises as speed.
In other hand there is an order with no limited speed, but at more then 2 times high price that stays at zero speed.

This just a my opinion. My only proof is data displayed on the front end in equihash orders...

Yeah, was very annoying, couldn't understand how the miners/pools went offline the moment I purchased them.
I sold all orders and withdrew all funds.

A lot of such sporadic activity can be due to bad or unstable pools, constantly disconnecting. An order with good stable pool and high enough price will always get miners and keep them.

is this made by nicehash itself or some affiliate guy? just need to know if it is not a scam, since it look a bit profitable on the big order, still risky if the price drop fast
