Thanks a lot npl for an awesome StarWars Token. Smiley

BTW, I have redeemed it to my email ID. Now, may I know how to redeem a physical copy of it along with the "Young Man with an Apple" art that I won on an auction?

Thanks again.

Hi npl,

May I know how can I redeem a physical print of an art to my address? Or, does redeeming a physical print mean to get full permission of printing it as much as I want on my own?

Hi, you can redeem the token you received for a physical print. We will have a redemption page up very soon, but in the meantime you can email us at [email protected].

So are you going to stay with prints and collectibles or are you planning to sell original art work too? There might be some artist out there, who would want to sell on these types

of auctions too. What is the risks involved with selling original art work? I am talking about less well known artists doing some fine work. Some of these guys needs some exposure

and many of them are not good enough for gallery works.  Huh

Thanks for the feedback. We are certainly looking to cooperate with emerging artists, to feature limited editions of their works. Please pm me if you have a specific idea/suggestion.

Securitize and easily sell your collectibles with counterparty tokens!

We are excited to announce that we will now offer the option of issuing a Counterparty asset token for items sold on notpriceless.com. Depending on the item, and on the buyer preference, we will either send you an ascribe.io record of ownership (similar to now) or a Counterparty asset token.

What is Counterparty:

Counterparty is a platform built on top of Bitcoin. Counterparty tokens are tradeable assets secured by the Bitcoin blockchain. Each asset we issue represents a real, physical collectible sold on our site. You store Counterparty assets in a wallet just like bitcoin - go to Counterwallet.io to get your own wallet with just one click.

There are a number of great benefits to using counterparty tokens:

More opportunities to sell – Counterparty has a vibrant community and tools developed to sell your items easily and without relying on any centralized party. We believe in true distributed ownership – you should be free to sell your items on any platform, be it on our own or anywhere else. With Counterparty, you can sell your collectibles using the tokenly tradebot, on the Counterparty distributed exchange, or directly using escrow. These popular tools will increase visibility, add exposure and should increase the value of your item.

Securitize your item – this is the really exciting possibility counterparty allows for. For example, say you bought an item for $50, it has appreciated in value and is now worth $100. You’d like to get back some of your initial money spent on this item, but still retain a stake in it because you think it will further go up in value – with Counterparty you can sell a stake of your item – say 50 sahres at $1 each – you have now recuperated your initial purchase and still own 50% of the item.

Easier verification – each token is unique and can not be duplicated so your buyers will know it was issued by us.

If you have previously bought an item and would like to convert your digital edition to a Counterparty asset please email us at [email protected] or PM me.

While we are not yet able to auction an original Klimt (since that would run in the $xx,xxx, xxx) our editions have more value than a regular fine art poster, since they are verifably limited, recorded on the blockchian and so are easy to transfer and trade.

Edition runs are very small, so they could increase in value as more people start collecting them.

If you collect all editions in a set you can redeem them for amazing collectibles such as an original lithograph, with more great stuff to come. In addition, some individual items can be redeemed more than just an art print, check out the Goya edition: http://www.bid.notpriceless.com/series-2-francisco-goya-witchy-brew/296/ .

We are just getting started - we have two exciting announcements coming up in the next few days! Be sure to check them out.

Ad maiora!
I'm going to have to take a closer look at this. It is a little misleading that you use language like "limited edition" and "art lithograph" when you seem to be dealing simple art posters. I doubt you have original limited edition klimts or Renaissance works. That said, fine art posters have value too, I'm going to look closely

When will the highest bidder receive his payment instructions? Can you please elaborate in detail how to pay after winning a bid? Moreover every bids are linked to their corresponding https://www.ascribe.io collections. So will the highest bidder need to pay on ascribe.io or will an instruction reach via email?

Thanks.

Hi,

- Payment instructions are sent by email immediately after the auction ends. If you have not received the email (please check your spam folder) contact us at [email protected] or just PM me.

- The payment process is effortless, and you can pay with Bitcoin or Paypal.

- Ascribe.io is the vault ('wallet') where you store, manage and display your items, which are recorded on the Blockchain. The payment request is sent by email from us at the end of the auction.
