Here is the current status on all exchanges that we've applied to so far:
Given we applied for a Yobit listing on the 7th with an exclusive listing (est. 2-3 days) we find it unacceptable how much time has past beyond this estimate as well as no response to any of our support tickets or tweets. As a result of this, we've withdrawn our request from Yobit. Since we have withdrawn our request from Yobit, the cost initially allocated towards Yobit has been used to subsidize the cost of Cryptopia.
We feel it will be sufficient to have Nova and Cryptopia as exchanges for now and we will not be seeking any further listings that require compensation in return. Please use one of these to trade on or use
#trading with an escrow if for whatever reasons you cannot trust trading on these exchanges. We are happy to accommodate reaching out to other exchanges then the ones listed above, just send me a message.
One thing to remember is a project stands on the merit of what development it produces, not on the exchanges it so happens to trade on. When we make financial decisions, they're not made on a whim and we weigh our given options and the cost-benefit result of our expenditure. Simply because a business has "a lot" of money at it's disposal does not justify going on a careless spending regardless of what the amount may be so while we encourage participation in the form of
suggestions we will always do what we feel is best for the project as a whole which may conflict with some of said suggestions.
In terms of development, things have slowed down slightly as we begin to make the transition to a more structural business.
In terms of development the few things we have chosen to focus our immediate attention to are the following points
- Episode integration into Video SFSI
- Image SFSI with the ability to upload content to us
- Web Wallet Development
- Atmos Integration (via temporary blockchain) into the platform
We've been ready for some time with our changes for Episode integration but have been waiting on our designer's changes to the video SFSI so there has been some minor delays. This is because of trying to finish the design work on the Image SFSI which has already been started prior to concluding Episode integration to be a top priority because of its light load. We believe it's important to not focus all of our resources strictly on the video SFSI as more SFSIs created gives people a better grasp on what AFIX can be used for.
Here's a preview of it via the initial mock up design:
As you can see, we've decided to keep it themed similarly with color scheme used in the Video SFSI making the two easily related. It's heavily modeled after Imgur in mind as we believe it to be a fairly easy to use and well structured platform.
In terms of user hosted gateways when they're available, the upload option can be disabled and the gateway host will be able to set a fee on hosting (uploading). The reason we feel that there needs to be an upload option in this case rather than simply relying on indexing is that it's far too much of a hassle to go through indexing an image to share it rather then directly uploading it as Imgur allows. Should the user provide descriptive information about the image others will be able to find it within the index.
Thanks you for your support and patience as we continue to establish ourselves!
