Any nodes? I can't get a connection.

Also how do we swap our accumulated hashes for coins? PM you our address?
And then you give us daily or weekly or whatever?

Is there a way to tell our individual earnings from the web mining yet?

NVM I see it on page 1.  Divide you total shares by 1,000,000. I should have about 20 coins  Grin

Why on the tweet you talk about sha miners when at the OP you say there will be no pow mining?

If there is pow mining, what percentage of the total mined will be the web based part? I hope it's not an insignificant percentage

PoW will reward 0.01 NEON per block, which is the base fee as well; this will encourage long-term staking rather than manual splitting which will be too cost-inefficient. At first it will be easy to mine, but it will get significantly harder later. I reset the difficulty to start at 1.0 to encourage solo mining rather than pool mining. This will give the small miners a chance to earn more coins than the big rigs that need stratum. PoW will end at block 100k, so it is not a forever thing. It will last a while, though, because the blocks are much longer than most altcoins. I will give full specs shortly in audio form via YouTube and explain my reasoning for this decision

As a side note, I purposely did not include batch RPC calls (like usual  ;p). If you guys want a pool, it would have to be from someone like ocminer who has already modified the MPOS source; if I were him, I would keep that code private  ;p

So 100000 blocks will produce 1000 coins total when web based mining will produce 20000.
No other supply besides staking? That sounds like a very low supply coin. Good for early adopters  Wink

Less than that since some of the 100k PoW-eligible blocks will be PoS. Network fees are also destroyed and not paid to anything; there is a constant burn of coins whenever someone pays a fee

Any relation between worm and nucleon?

Yes. This will be explained later tonight when I post the launch audio on my YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/HealthyWormcom)

Also please advise if web-mining will continue to generate coins - details on that piece please.
Thanks,

I have premined 20,000 Nucleon to cover this. Yes, it will continue as normal until those coins run out. Coins will be sent every Sunday to the same address you guys provide to me for the initial distribution

Testnet runs have concluded. Final wallets are compiled and ready to go. I will post Windows wallet and source tonight, followed by a Mac wallet for the Apple sheeple later in the day (possibly tomorrow, I don't build Mac wallets, but my dude will have it done soon)

Thanks to everyone for helping test the forum, the web mining, and everything else. Believe it or not, this small community has accomplished a lot already. I'll keep building stuff, you guys keep using it  Wink

Looks great man.
Followed you - if we any/all want to follow each other given the community factor mine is @cryptofixation
Also, +10 for the sheeple comment.  Cheesy

if we could somehow bring in (contact) @realposmonkey and @cryptomocho and get them to send out a couple tweets on first day it hits exchange, or shorly after (since this will be POS- and most of their followers stake) - it would make a MASSSIVE impact.
I'd suggest Igotspots reach out given his high follower count, he's likely to gain their attention quicker.
If not - totally cool - just an idea. Everytime they send out a damn tweet (and they usually hodl a chunk so there will be future tweets down the road) the crypto tends to pump some.
Like I said - merely an idea.

Look forward to the wallet and staking.
