The wallet-qt looks nice, plus it has transaction messages so I guess this coin wasn't too lazy plus I do like low reward coins.

This is an old coin. 35000 blocks have been mined thus far.

The wallet looks like a copy of Megacoin.

If that is the case WTF.

That is that case it has been mined 24 days so guess I will ignore this coin.

The game has changed. Now, it's not enough to copy Litecoin, you also have to copy Litecoin PR blurbs.

"Litecoin is a peer-to-peer Internet currency that enables instant payments to anyone in the world. It is based on the Bitcoin protocol but differs from Bitcoin in that it can be efficiently mined with consumer-grade hardware. Litecoin provides faster transaction confirmations (2.5 minutes on average) and uses a memory-hard, scrypt-based mining proof-of-work algorithm to target the regular computers and GPUs most people already have. The Litecoin network is scheduled to produce 84 million currency units.
One of the aims of Litecoin was to provide a mining algorithm that could run at the same time, on the same hardware used to mine bitcoins. With the rise of specialized ASICs for Bitcoin, Litecoin continues to satisfy these goals. It is unlikely for ASIC mining to be developed for Litecoin until the currency is widely used."

how setup solo mining?
Are we sure that it isn't a virus?...

how setup solo mining?
Are we sure that it isn't a virus?...

My Config

networkcoin.conf

server=1
rpcuser=networkcoinrpc
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=7178
daemon=1
listen=1

You must start with BAT

start /D "C:\Networkcoin\" networkcoin-qt.exe -server

it only open the wallet..

You need a BAT for cgminer.

It took me a few start stop-s until the server finally started and miner was able to connect to it.
However diff is already 0.48 so solo mining won't bring much coins i guess
