Does that mean that other users can connect there with their accounts? If so I would be glad to host them (and a good opportunity to test if everything is ok)!

1. Ive got the java client running and someone was nice enough to give me 1 NXT yesterday morn but its still in pending status. But my balance on the upper right does show 1 NMC now even though its in pending.
2. Also just bought 7000 more and its and its also pending but not showing up in my balances like the 1 NMC is. Why the difference?
3. Am I mining just by running that java command line? or do I also need to open the localhost web link? Any pool to join?

Peers u had sent it to didn't send it back, so ur node doesn't see it. But u can't be sure that it won't be included into later blocks, so it's better to send a transaction with deadline set to 0.1 hours. If it's not confirmed in 7 minutes then resend it.
