Test net B is round the corner to be release within next couple of days before the end of this month. They are going integrate next generation code in that upcoming testing version. I had occasion to read last update in which was reassured that everything is on track and will be completed within prescribed timing.
Really hoping that the testnet is successful. PRL needs some additional got news, to get in the top 100, so that more people will know about it
True. On the other side it's amazing how little success had the Oyster ICO and how much success is Oyster now starting to have in the crypto community. The Oyster phenomenon may well become a very important case study.
I agree. Especially the part when the lead man (Bruno) asked the community to contribute to the Oyster project by purchasing PRL tokens on EtherDelta because he needed the money to employ new people. Sell walls were taken down one by one and now all buyers that bought into those sell walls gained pretty big.
I don't recall Bruno ever asking anyone to buy tokens. He simply asked us what we thought of sell walls and they were put up like an hour later. Feedback from the community was mostly positive (great community).
There were some fudders in the telegram chat at the time. Just 1 or 2. Everyone else supported the sell walls. The fudders were claiming there should have been enough money to cover the marketing costs as well as the server cost. Bruno was transparent and posted all his invoices. It was really insightful because I learned how much projects were paying people for the videos and bounty management. The numbers added up and the rest is history.
He also posted his conversation with the IOTA main dev, come-from-beyond, which showed me he had a well-thought out vision, despite me not actually understanding 75% of it.
Pearl was worth $0.025 while this was going on.
