Peepcoin withdrawls are enabled on Coinexchange.io , we suggest taking your Peepcoin and other coins off ASAP. We do not know the reasons behind the emptying of the #1 wallet belonging to them, or their maintenance while they did. Secure your coins!

Have Cryptopia confirmed they will participate in a swap, or are you waiting until after the Peepcoin->DAPS swap to organise the listing?

Blah, blah. This thread is Peepcoin, that thread is DAPS.

WOW...it is right what they said about you. Instead of you to SUPPORT the DAPS project by pointing people to the right place and where the SWAP is, you are busy trying to maintain the webs left from your failed fork attempt.

GUYS, if YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING HELPED WITH THE NEW TEAM (ALMOST 4,000 STRONG ON TELEGRAM) GO TO WWW.DAPSCOIN.COM THERE WILL BE A SWAP. THIS MAN IS NOT IN IT FOR YOUR GOOD. HE HOLD 4 BILLION (ACCORDING TO HIM ON THE OLD THREAD) AND IS ONLY IN IT TO GET WHAT HE CAN OUT OF THE COINS WITHOUT HELPING THE TEAM. SHAME ON YOU!

This coin is an excellent example of the fact that it is not worthless to remove wallets with seemingly already completely dead coins. Sometimes it happens that the old dried (censored) can make a profit. Smiley

Hey, I have set up the Peepcoin QT wallet today and successfully bootstrapped it. My virus scanner however does not like it at all, gives 21 hits out of 61 on Virus Total, this is the mac wallet by the way. Wallet was downloaded via the DAPS site, anyone else experienced this?

I fully synced the new wallet and try to resync it again with the old wallet dat.

.i am already syncing my old wallet.dat dated back from august 2017. And it is now 2019 block remaining. I used bootstrap in it.

Thanks to almightyruler and thekinginyellow  Smiley

Now i can see "Rescanning".

You don't need to resync from scratch when you change wallet files, although I understand in your case it was necessary. Assuming you have no further assert issues there should be no need to sync from scratch again.

When you change wallets the client will rescan to make sure all of the transactions in the 'new' wallet appear in the blockchain. That's normal and shouldn't take too long.

I saved my old wallet.dat and downloaded new wallet. I also downloaded bootstrap and now syncing new wallet with it.

My question is, do i have to 100% sync the new wallet first and after that i will replace the new wallet.dat with my old wallet.dat. Or do i have to really replace the new wallet.dat with my old wallet.dat and wait for it to fully sync?

I am currently syncing new wallet with bootstrap. And i can see "2020 blocks remaining".

Having some trouble understanding why you have two wallets, but in general, it is possible to create a transaction when only partially synced, but if your syncing does not cover all of the transactions which your funds are made up of (stakes, receiving, sending) then your client's view will be incomplete, and your balance may be incorrect, or the client may try to spend funds that have already been spent and are now owned by another wallet.

I'd recommend that you fully sync just to be safe. 2020 blocks shouldn't take too long?

I had a problem before, it always gives me "assertion failed". I deleted all files excepr waller.dat on %appdata%. Then launch wallet again and used bootstrap.

My qiestion is when i am resyncing it again,do i have to insert my old wallet.dat instead of the new wallet.dat from the newly launch peepcoin.qt?

Ok, here is my situation:

I downloaded new wallet and all was well, while "synching" (300k blocks were left) I unlocked the wallet after 7 months and I was awarded 350k coins!

Then I used bootstrap and got it 100% synched, then i replaced new wallet.dat but the balance showed 0 but in transactions mined transactions were also
there with a question mark. so i replaced the old wallet.dat and my balance is showing up to my original balance but 350k coins which were mined last night are not...?

New blocks can only be added to the end of the chain, so if your client starts trying to stake at (say) block 10000 it may find a solution, but then you subsequently receive block 10001, 10002 etc from peers, blocks which are already part of the blockchain, so those blocks will override (orphan) the block you've just found. That's why you see the question mark. An orphaned block basically means that for some reason, the network didn't accept your block. In this case, it's because the network consensus will not let you change the past by trying to stake at a point in the middle of the blockchain. You can only add to the end when 100% synced.
