It’s been a busy week. On Monday, June 13th, The Peerplays 2-tier pre-sale officially sold out. A big thank you once again to everyone who has helped to make this crowdfund a success!
The same day, we began to work with DAO curators to submit our proposal to the stakeholders for a vote. Subsequently we were advised to wait for certain bugs in the software code of the DAO to be fixed before moving ahead with the process.
As you have probably heard, on Friday one of these bugs was exploited and a “hacker” made off with about $60 Million in ETH tokens from the DAO. We are keeping a close watch on how things develop, but needless to say it does not look like the DAO will be voting for any funding proposals in the near future.
Nevertheless, the Peerplays project is fully funded and the team is proceeding on schedule towards the release of the test net in September. We will also be publishing the profit sharing module for Graphene on July 1st.
Now for some exciting news - starting today and ending on July 10th, we are running a design contest for the official Peerplays logo. Check out:

Also, be sure to stop by the Beyond Bitcoin hangout every Friday morning at 10am EST for live weekly project updates and a Q&A Session. The hangout is open to anyone who wishes to join, and you are not required to speak (most people just listen), but you can also type questions or comments into the chat box.
Next month we plan to publish a high level overview focusing on the basics of how things will fit together in terms of game development. For now if you want to get more involved, stop by the forums and social media channels and join the discussion.
