I found this thread while searching out coins to add to my new mining pool. The server will likely have some sporadic down times for the next few weeks, as i finish getting everything setup but we are now mining Penguin Coin. Everyone is welcome to stop by and give it a go!

Seems this coin is fully dead. No pool for mining, No exchange, No development ,No new interesting innovation ,No future. Just a crazy coin with really high number of it's units. i can't understand what is the purpose of coins like it

PENG has now outlived Cryptsy (and many other exchanges) and is trading rather active on cryptopia for a "dead" coin.
Everything went perfect.
The download of my wallet was done in a few hours with the addnodes i received from the post above;
The transaction i have made got no confirmations in the beginning, but today they suddenly came in and now the transaction is completed.
