Block Time: 2 minutes/block
Block Reward: 4000
Block reward halving: NEVER
Premine: 1% - For Bounties and Giveaways
If the reward never halves, what prevents the total number of coins exceeding 2.1 billion, in 2 years from now?
If blocks no longer give any reward, what incentive is there for miners to keep mining and securing the network?
After one week, premined coins (21 million PIG) still accounts for more than half of all PIG in existence. Isn't that a bit huge?
Oink.
The blocks will stop giving rewards at 2.1 billion coins. After that mining rewards will come exclusively from transaction fees.
I knew the premine % question would be here sooner or later. To do this type of block reward distribution and to do the premine this was the only option we could find.
What I can say is that the premine is being used for bounties and giveaways (20% is already gone).

People here on IRC seem to be compiling fun and our best bet is that you must have a missing or broken installation of boost :/
You can also try "make -f makefile.unix"
