Wow thanks, sorry if I was a dick.  It's much better knowing that only a handful got 5k and most got a couple hundred, but I still feel it should distributed more evenly to more people.

Don't forget to give some away..even if it's just a couple here and a couple there...the more people that download the wallet and it gets distributed to, the better it's chance of increasing in value.  Also Mintpal voting at the moment would be a great help. https://www.mintpal.com/voting

For what it's worth I was a late-comer too and received the smaller giveaway, however, I still gave half of it away to members of a diff alt-coin community in order to spread the word.  Every now and then someone tips me a couple of PMC on this thread too - no idea why, but I'm not complaining!  Smiley

Personally I think the majority of the *current* big holders have probably bought in, not long ago you could buy for 0.00035 on Poloniex and every now and then someone sells a lot and you can still pick up some for lower than the current rate - always worth having a low buy order sitting there, just in case.

Although..............it does feel like things are about to change, if only because the amount of BTC orders have quadrupled recently but the sell orders have remained pretty constant.

Looking forward to seeing what the next few weeks bring.  Grin

The title might be a bit overhyped - after all, Bitcoin users won't see this bug until about 250 years from now - but overall, it's good to have a professional report on that Smiley

You're probably right, but hey, gotta bring in those visitors, right?  Wink

Someone posted about it being a known bug, but I'm wondering why it still doesn't seem to be fixed if that's the case.  Are they just procrastinating?

We practically begged people to take it for weeks. . .  Wink

Thinking back to the start where it was just handed out here there and everywhere. The good old days. Cheesy

Some interesting activity on Poloniex this evening. Someone dumped 1363 PMC and the market didn't even flinch.

Strong market, and very interesting behaviour indeed. It looks like more and more people are realising how valuable Premine is.

chesthing, there's only 499,000 which is the best thing going for PMC.  It's a hot coin and will be $3-$5 by the time it gets to Cry;tsy.

The biggest scams are the billion and million coins that have true premines that are kept by the devs.  Look at ICoin for instance, out of 5 million of the 8 million coins in exsitance (500,000,000 total at end) are kept by the dev. How is that fair?

PMC has been widely distributed.  There wasn't that many people who received 3-5000 coins. Most were 100-200 by the second and third day.  The point was to have the earliest recipients distributing them for the following weeks.

PMC is still only 40 cents on Poloniex.

Yes I got like 25 PMC the first time I requested... but I have been an active member of the community and more gifts came my way. I have received like 300 PMC and have given 88 PMC or so away...  while it is true there are a couple questionable gifts to perhaps unscrupulous people, no one was ever given a winklevoss twin-like percentage. Those who have have a fortune now BOUGHT them at the exchanges...

chesthing, the crypto markets wait for no one.  We don't go around saying, wait, I didn't get in this Bitcoin thing in 2009, could I get some now?

Nevertheless, post your PMC address you can still get some.

Also, if you have an old ASIC miner you can mine PMC for tx fees.

Did I say there's only 499,000 PMC?

Yay PMC... well i am holding 3700 PMC. I buy and sell 500 PMC once in a while to add volume trades (it helps PMC while making money).
What?! How did you amass so much PMC?

i received 5000 PMC on the initial giveaway.

I gaveaway 2000 PMC and bought 500 PMC with btc.
They gave away 5k coins to those lucky enough to see this post in January? out of 500k? how in the hell is that a fair distribution? if that's the case no way in hell would I ever buy any to support this bs.

I gave away 70% of the coins I received, as did most people who received them.
Was it a requirement you give them away? if not how do you know how many gave some away? I bet some dishonest people found a way to receive multiple giveaways. 5k pmc is 5 btc at todays value just a month later. I don't understand why they gave so many to so few, I won't be supporting a few people getting rich for doing absolutely nothing but lucking out and asking for free coins. If the giveaway was for 100 coins that lasted over a few weeks I would totally support it. I was all set to buy some til I read this, good luck with the project.

Post a wallet address, never know you might get some...

Yes, the large amounts were only given away in the very early stages, the free supply was tapered off and lasted for several weeks. In fact many people were giving away coins STILL as of yesterday.
