Giveaways of 100 PMC at this stage would seem insane, I bought most of my PMC so not tempted to just give them to people who might be selling them 5 minutes later.

Yes, this really does seem the only viable way to distribute PMC now, as you still have to earn the coins via Proof of Work.
I did warn very early on and throughout the thread that once the value reached a certain point giving away the coins for free would cease.
