This is great news and I just bought 150 on Poloniex as well to celebrate with you all. I was wondering if the Community wants to spare a few coins so I can host a giveaway on my coin blog? I will make a nice blog post to showcase the latest developments as well.

does this mean that PMC is not bought until around 3:15 UTC either? Or is it bought throughout the day and saved up to be distributed at 3:15?
I am not sure.... I think it is bought during the day.... However I am sure we will not see any normal stats until tomorrow. Or even a couple days, as I just got started and will not have a full 24 hours of mining in...

Great. What do you see as the next step for PMC?
Well... we need to secure the network obviously... the sha256 network is very low hashes...
My hope with putting buy pressure on PMC with the pool will raise it's price...
I do expect some of the larger holders of PMC to do more dumping.... but this pool mining will distribute them back out...
This will take some effort....
Then we need to get more folks to trust and accept PMC as a payment method...
I would like to see poker perhaps, and a few more games for PMC....
This was my 'dream' as it were.... to make mining for PMC a possibility.... Perhaps we should find/start a sha256 multipool as well?
I did what I was able, that was to find people who can do it and motivate the idea. As far as being a do-er myself, I am not technical enough.
EVERYONE who is going to mine some PMC... It is just as easy to accept payment from Hashcows in other currencies, including BTC, but for this to work we must all use PMC payouts...
Also everyone who donated: THANK YOU. It is my hope the value of PMC rises to a level that makes spending the PMC you did worth every penny.
Additionally: ALL the PMC that was received by Hashcows is coming back as random miner awards.... ALL OF IT.... so good luck and happy mining !

I like the spirit and the efforts so far. I've added PMC as an option to the site. Miners can start mining as soon as they like. PMC Payouts happen once daily at ~03:15:00 UTC. It won't send directly to your wallet by default, but you can setup an auto payout threshold or manually cash out at any time.
Sign Up, head to 'User Info' -> 'Account Settings' and select PMC as your payout coin.
