The project seems quite ambitious, I think it's legal for the exchanges to have their coins. ZDX has a great max supply and I believe it will easily be among the top currencies in the market in the future.

Its actually easy to launch an exchange, But getting users and maintaining it is the hardest part. Not to mention marketing the exchange and compete with the the current top exchanges.
Since they are just sharing exchange software from birake, This kind of growth is expected since they cannot offer free listing to increase their userbase.
