To stop members asking at which block will the dividend payment happen, it might be a good solution to include them in the ANN.

Tortellino I'll look into it. It's gonna be once a month so don't expect it to be anytime soon. Should be at the end of the month

@bitbeanpool:

During my search for good staking coins i have readed something in the Jewel Forum which gets me concerned a bit. Not only that the user ranlo is telling this but that there is no reply or statement from the officials from poswallet. So here are the accuses:

JWL added to poswallet.com. Block explorer, staking wallet, and faucet are all online.

I'm going to suggest NOBODY use PoSWallet. They screwed me bad (stole coins with very little notice) a while back. I won't forget. And it's just a matter of time before they do it again with other coins, so BEWARE.

Actually looked around since you posted this & it is quite alarming how many people have had this happen to them.

What they pulled was shady as hell. To clarify:

They have an announcement board where they will list coins that are going to be delisted on x day, say, December 31st.
They phantom update this list occasionally.
They add coins THE DAY OF, some just minutes/hours BEFORE they remove all of them on the list from the site.

If yours happens to be on that list, they claim "well, we told on the site before we removed them so that's your fault."

The issue is there is NO TIME for most of them, as they don't send out any alerts or anything. And even if you withdrew as soon as they added one to that listing, there are some that take 12h+ to be withdrawn. I've seen a couple that even if you tried to withdraw right as they added it to the "we're removing x" list, you still wouldn't get them since the withdrawal would take too long and they take the coins offline before that happens.

On top of the outright theft they do, they also don't stake most coins properly. I did tests side-by-side of a few coins in the past. One got 30% of what it should, one was 5%, and one was around 1% (assuming equal amounts deposited to local wallet/PoSWallet and watching the balances as they stake over a period of 30 days).

I don´t know what really happened and if its true what ranlo tells but after investing in POSW coins and staking some coins in the wallet i have interest to clearify this, because due to work i will not be able to check every hour or day the dahsboard for deleted coins in the future. So what will be the practice from the team in future and how long will the timesheet to transfer the coins to the wallets if announced to be deleted?Huh

Thanks for your answers!

This definitely is alarming and I can't wait to see what the devs respond with. However I do know that when poswallet does delist coins they make it pretty visable on the dashboard page. This being said the last time I've seen them delist coins was a while ago when project was still in Ico. They gave around 4-5 days for people to withdeaw their coins so I would say that's ample amount of time to withdraw. I've asked around as well and have only heard positive things about the dev team. So hopefully this is correct.

Would love to reply to this.  We post coin delisting at least 2 weeks in advance.  When a user notices that a coin was delisted too late (maybe they only log in every 30 days for example), we still send out their coins (as we keep the wallet active for another 3 months after) when they open a ticket. This has happened before and I am sure will happen in the future.  Our goal is to make the users happy.

It is unfortunate that this user had a negative experience.  As we have made quite clear, we are not in the business of 'theft'.

@zincra: balance is not only depending on the coins you have but also on their market prices, which are fluctuation a lot (some coins more than 100% a day), so your total balance is depending on that. If the problem is e.g. that you have 10000 POSW in your wallet and the other day only 9990 POSW without any wihdrawal you have big problem. All withdrawals must be shown on ledger.

@bitbeanpool: are there fixed dates or fixed blocks when the next dividend payments will happen?

still questioning when next and follwing dividend payments will be made. Any fixed blocks or dates?

i am realy clad devs added my suggestions to Exchange. But i think there is room for one more suggestion. Right now if you click eighter on sell column or buy column. Data only goes for for one order box. Data should go both order boxes so player who want to make standing order can make it automatically, and not neccesary need to do insta buy or sell.

lets say there is sell order 1.0 and if you click on it it price goes only to buy order box so it make it insta buy. and viseversa with buy order. If curent sell order is 1.0 and buy order is 0.9. then player need to type manually to get non insta but standing sell order. I hope this will be added. Devs have done greatejob with exchange system.

Okay heard back from the dev team, they are currently working on fixing the negative balance bug, they have fixed a bunch of them during the maintenance today and will be having another later tonight to work on some more so I would say in a couple of days they should have the bugs fixed. Also asked the status about having two different wallets, one for exchange and one for staking. There will be two different wallets. The reason being is that it has to be or else they the wallets would be very insecure and would result in lower stake rates. Gonna be a hassle to transfer coins from wallet to exchange and back, but reason behind it makes sense.

I'm noticing my "real world" BitBeans and POSW coin balances have 1000 extra coins.  But they're really not there, because you can't withdraw them.  I'm concerned that this could confuse some people and cause problems. If the 1000 extra coins aren't really there, you should only see them in the exchange, not your actual balance.

I am interested in this moment ...

There are people who receive dividends on the stock exchange? All I get? You have someone difficulty?

No there is people who get dividends by owning POSW coins. Buy POSW coins and you will earn dividends every month.

Dividends accrued on each address, I wonder if the dividends accrued on the exchange address?

Good news.

https://poswallet.com/exchange.php
"Exchange Announcement
All users now have access to the BITB/POSW exchange. You received 1000 BITB and 1000 PoSW in your exchange balance to experiment with on the exchange - please report any bugs you find in the support center (include exactly what happened to make the bug). You will not be able to withdraw any of the exchange balance, it is for testing only and will be cleared out when the exchanges goes live for all coins.

Expecting to launch the full exchange in ~10 days (all coins). The final page design will be nicer/faster at launch. BTC will be available for deposit as well Smiley"

That's really good news!

I'm trying the exchange and i notice that market history is not updating.... maybe it's a little bug (Firefox browser).

When the final exchange will be launced, will we have separate balances for exchange and staking wallets? Or the balances will be the same? Having to move fund from staking to exchange and back will be annoying.

Thanks
