I totally forgot that they had a bunch of coins too. The 18 million is a nice small number. Hopefully the dev can make enough changes and improvements to make this a good standalone coin. They will also view this coin negatively but if you do in fact achieve what you want, the bigger goal of internet freedom and liberty will far outweigh their angry looks. Basically the problem is that the Masari code has indeed modified the copyright statement which does not show the original Monero copyright. Also is suggest that you do not add Masari copyright to files which havent any real contributions by Masari except for function/variable name changes. This always bothered me, i had noticed this in Sumokoin then too.

I suggest looking at some other project (linux kernel my fav) to see how copyright assignments are done for new modifications. It better to rectify now than later.

Fonero was dump since few weeks ago till now and those guys have been trying to accumulate and pump this coin. I sold all my Fonero at 900 sat and went to Masari. People all know Fonero is a cheap clone of Masari, and the fact is that they come here just to show how potential Masari will be in the future.

Great discussions going on here today. The Fonero guys are obviously still very Salty over Thaer calling them out for violating Masari’s open source license on Github. I have now seen Electronium, Sumokoin, and Fonero have all not done a very good job of Forking off of Monero. But yet here we have little Masari coin that keeps flying under the radar but doing everything right. Just a matter of time before everyone learns that Masari is best fork of Monero in all of crypto. I’m just glad I’m in now and mining as much as I can before it takes off.
