There's no need to be upset
How long/how many basecoin do I need to begin receiving zerocoin? I currently have 2 and I don't think it's doing anything.

Basecoin is minted to zerocoin in a minimum of 10.

Hi all, can someone tell me about how much needed to get 1 stakes from staking veil? I have been visiting various sites and i don't even get the best answer and is there a staking calculator? I will really appreciate it.
I heard about 13k is needed to get one stake but i still doubt about that.

You currently need about 15k coins to earn one staking reward a day (worth 50 coins) on average. The amount you need for one reward per day on average will increase as the coin supply increases.

Just save it as Excel file on hard drive and enter your Veil Balance.
For me that calculator seems to broken. It might be user error, but I can't get it to work properly

For the last 48 to 72 hours, the Bitcoin prices have stabilized at $8,000 per coin levels (Coinmarketcap shows a price of $7,896 per coin as of now). If this trend continues for the rest of the week, then we can expect the traders to start booking profit. And this may result in a correction, which can take the prices to somewhere between $6,500 and $8,000 per coin. For Veil, this should be good news. Those who sold the coin to purchase BTC should be now thinking about purchasing it once more.

I can't believe how cheap some people sold their Bitcoin just a few months ago. I bet they seriously regret that poor decision now. On another note, I can't believe how cheap some of the guys sold their Veil either. Now watch it rise high!!

Don't sell your coins and tokens on the cheap guys, hold on to them and watch it skyrocket.

Veil is definitely looking extremely under-priced. It is having a market cap of around $3 million currently. Many of the similar coins have market cap in excess of $100 million. I am not saying that Veil will give us 100x returns in a month or two, but given how under-priced it is, we can expect a pump anytime soon. We need to give it as much publicity as we can, especially through the social media. I still remember a similar coin called Deep Onion, which went from a market cap of $1 million to $80 million in 3-4 months. With Veil, we can do even better!

Yesterday I have got around 150 Veils onto bv address of 1.0.3.0 wallet. At the time of receiving the last was in locked state  but when I unlocked the wallet it has automatically sent    part of them from bv to Zerocoin container. Is that  some kind of flaw? From where I sit... the wallet must do such things in a manual mode but not automatically.
I believe you have automint on. Automint tells the wallet to mint the selected amount of coins whenever it can.

Automint means wallet mints coins if Zerocoin container is not empty, I think, and coins where not selected.Regardless, the question is why the wallet  sent coins to that container automatically. BTW, how to turn off automint?  It seems the staking toggle doesn't react when I click on it.

Got it, all u need is to click relevant  toggle near Precompute one.  Besides Automint means wallet mints Zerocoins if CT, CTRing and basecoin  containers are not empty and contain amounts enough to do that in relevance to chosen denom.

Looks like the price has bottomed out and now is selling at firesale levels. The crypto market as a whole is a positive one pricewise and I'm sure this will impact Veil in a positive way as well going forward. Now would be a good time to buy.

Thats how market situation is going to be because due to panic many people can't wait until the price start increasing. People will lose lot of patience in the market when the prices are decreasing heavily in the market makes to sell the coins for low price.

Investors will go crazy if bitcoin maintain its price above $8000 or even move higher; then due to widely effects from bitcoin strong upward movements, whole market will get bigger benefits, crypto enthusiasts and investors whom have not bought too much altcoins will fear of missing out (FOMO), then they will no longer hesitate to invest more into their favorite altcoins, that they observed and put under their radars for their portfolios for too long, maybe since 2018, but actually have not own any coins or at amount less than their plans. Let's see how bitcoin moves next days, at least till the end of this month.

Bounty pools can not be used to manipulate price and should not be used like this. However, I believe that other projects sufferred same tough period as well due to the rises of bitcoin. People all try to sell their altcoins, then buy bitcoin and hold it to enjoy bitcoin increases. Therefore, most of altcoins have fallen down around 30 percent to 50 percent during last two or three weeks. I don't think there are serious things with VEIL and its promotions. The coin has suffered from bitcoin latest movements.

Hmm.. during the last 7 days, the exchange rate (versus Bitcoin) has fallen by as much as 50%. Today also, Veil fell by another 17%. This is unlike the case with the established altcoins, most of which are going up. One of the top-5 alts, Ripple has gone up by 20% during the past 24 hours.

One thing I have noticed is that today the volumes are down. So the only explanation for the recent price movement is that the supply remained the same, while the demand showed a decline.

Hi;

It is very slow and "rescanblockchain" slow too.
I try to mint 595 approved 10 basecoin to zerocoin, than I receive "insufficient basecoin" message. This is new.

Kind regards

Well, except that the supply increased by some 70-80k coins since yesterday...

Got to remember the high emission rate from mining and staking  Wink
This is a big reason why this coin should and will be very volitile regardless of what is going on in the background.

There is no stable price this coin can hold in the short term.

Every coin will do the same thing in the market once the circulating supply starts increasing automatically the price of a coin will start decreasing in the market. The coin price will start increasing again after some time when the real developments from the team what they mentioned in the roadmap.
