Since the announcement of our bidding system during our Q&A, we’ve been getting a lot of feedback from our communities. We’re happy to see many who appreciate our project and we understand that many of you would rather see us conduct our ICO in a more familiar format.
We also realize that not all of the supporters are active in the groups, so, to get a more complete understanding we will run a poll via email. We will ask you a simple question on whether you prefer the bidding system or a standard whitelist.

Large enough to dump on exchange.
You should lock pre ico investers token at least 3 months after ico or we will not invest in your ICO. We don't want to become bag holders.

If you believe that the WaBi will plummet after entering the exchanges, by all means, feel free to wait. However, we'd ask you to consider more than one factor when making this decision:

2. Exchanges do not have KYCs and, as noted in our whitepaper, we explicitly excluded certain nationalities for ICO participation, in addition to people who would not want to go through the KYC process.
3. Aside from the ICO, we are a rapidly growing company with constant business developments. I realize that this factor often gets lost in the crypto world due to the scarcity of projects with anything more than a vapourware promise. But this is by far the most important factor influencing the market cap, in the non-crypto world.
The contributors in the pre-ico entered with small amounts because they believed in the solution and the team, but not everything was set in place yet. This project went way bigger along the road and a lot of interest is starting to show up lately. Im pretty sure hardly any of the pre-ico participants will have any reason to sell, except if they need fiat badly. If you're on Slack and Telegram you see most pre contributors will only buy more because almost all of us went in with way to low amounts for projects like this one!

Not at all. Only a comparatively small amount of tokens were sold during our open preICO, raising 300k USD through 300 contributors.
Large enough to dump on exchange.

Not at all. Only a comparatively small amount of tokens were sold during our open preICO, raising 300k USD through 300 contributors.

So preICO prices will be 5-8x cheaper than the ico prices? Thats nuts. Other ICO's with similar discounts result in dumps to start trading - no point to invest in the ICO.
Our situation is a little bit more nuanced than that. Some people will probably sell tokens as they hit the exchanges. But keep in mind:
1. We sold 20% of circulating supply (10% of total) at the preICO to raise money to run the actual ICO.
2. Assuming half of those coins are sold on exchange quickly after the ICO - it is 10% of the circulating supply.
3. That would push the price down, we don’t know by how much, maybe around 10% but it depends on a lot of other factors.
4. 10% price volatility in crypto is a daily thing. It’s noise.
The above argument is not 100% rigorous but helps to put things into perspective.
We would also encourage people to think of the unmet demand that will be filled at the exchange: a lot of people will not pass our KYC (some countries restricted for the initial sale, some people will not be able to provide the right documents, etc). They will probably try to get the tokens at the exchange.
Most importantly, we would encourage people to look at the project long-term, not based on the first few days when it’s on the exchange.

New coin parameters:
1.Total supply of WaBi (蛙币) will be limited at 100.000.000. With the following split:
a) Up to 10.000.000 will be sold at the preICO at 0.03 USD/coin price. Funds will be used to launch the ICO. Up to additional 1.000.000 coins will be distributed through the bounty programme.
b) Up to 40.000.000 will be distributed at the ICO stage in September/October 2017. 80% sold for 0.15-0.25 USD/coin, 20% distributed among the team, bounties, founders. Funds will be used to grow sales in baby stores, add more product categories (such as alcohol and cosmetics) and set up a seamless WaBi usage process for consumers.

The WaBi ICO will be open to everyone. Due to the specially designed token distribution system we’ll be utilizing during the WaBi ICO, there will be no need for a whitelist.
Countering China's fake goods industry is both noble and a gargantual undertaking. Coupled with blockchain technology would make this a more nobler approach. I wish your project the best of success.
Thank you very much. Our project definitely goes well beyond China, but China is one of our initial target markets as it suffers greatly from counterfeit goods sold there.
