That happens every time there is a getwork failure which means that the pool failed to give out new work in time. That's one of the things h2o is working on to fix. There is no way to completely prevent it as it's on the server side but you could probably lower the effect of it by load-balancing between pools. Also, judging from h2o's tweets, the us servers might have less of getwork failures.

ok thanks for then answer.

So you mean its better to use the US server? Is there a disadvantage since im in europe? More rejects or something like this?

And what do you mean by load balancing between pools?

The US servers might have less getwork failures but you also might get more rejects because of the higher latency. So in the end it might not make a difference. But only way to be sure is for you to test it.

What I mean is to use the load-balance option in cgminer and set it to balance the load between the eu/us servers. I don't know if it will actually help but it's been discussed here a few times. Search back some pages and you'll find it.

Another underwhelming day on the Asia server.

At 1.30 when the payout comes, I'm going to point my miners at middlecoin.com instead of asia.middlecoin.com for 24 hrs to see what happens.

I assume that the vanilla middlecoin.com server is the one that is performing well?

I will report back with my findings.

hey guys i got a problem with middlecoin.

Well every undefined time period my rig seems to shut completely down with the message:

"Waiting for work available from pool"

after few seconds or maybe minutes it starts again and all is fine, i cant see any lags on the statistic so it seems not to be a problem for the profit but it must be horrible for the GPU, everytime it cools completely down and then heats back up.

Why is this happening? is it because of the switching to other coins? how can i prevent my rig from complete stopping?

Not sure; I know that between yesterday and today the middlecoin servers were having issues.

How often does this happen?

im on the eu server.

i cant figure out how often this happens, cuz it never appears anywhere in the statistics on middlecoin, i just notice it when sitting next to my rig. and it already happened today like 3-4 times

I guys I know I was fucking around with my GPUs ysterday and I went offline for a MANY hours but its almost pay time and I have $14 USD Is this normal? is it because of yesterday's big payment? I would of thought arounf $24-26 As they were offline for around 7 hours

today isn't looking too good.  a fair amount of unexchanged though so maybe he'll trade them right before payout again we'll have to see

My hashrate over the last 8 hours has been 2.15 when I have 3 rigs totaling 5.9Mh/s.  They are all running, pumping out heat, and supposedly connected to middlecoin.com:3333.  I have been on MC stably for over a month with the same cgminer.bat file, so I know my public address and configurations are correct.

Thoughts?Huh?  Huh

stop restart the workers... same thing happened to me when I woke up this morning.  All workers about 30-40 khs slower than normal but running.  Middlecoin reported 1.02 Mhs when I am running 3.1 Mhs.  restarted workers went up to normal.

in other news... looks like a bad payout today... oh wells... this pool is usually pretty good so.. take the good with the bad.

Thanks!!  Just restarted all of them and hash is over 3.7 and climbing.  Seems to have worked!

We had a good payout yesterday so I am happy.

Cue the sales pitches for all of the other multi-pools to come in any moment now.

what do you think....

coinmarket cap says $19.6m volume within last 24 hrs.

stats from middlecoin show exchanged and paid out btc at $9m.

is middlecoin accounting for just under 50% of BTC trade volume?

 Cool

Also eu has been running for weeks now, why is it still in beta?

Because it is still having instability issues. Be sure to read the Middlecoin Twitter feed for updates.

Also don't forget the FAQ for the server lists.

This is very useful, my thanks Smiley

Can someone advice me on the servers currently available? I know of the us and the eu servers. I heard that amsderdam.middlecoin.com was added and more beta servers are being deployed. Is there anyother than I am missing? Is there any in Asia.

I generally connect to eu and us as failover but the last 2 days has been poor. Failover has not worked as desired for some reason because I seem to be losing connection to both servers. I am not sure if its my rig, or my config or the issues H20 is having with the setup this weekend.

the ones I know of:

uswest.middlecoin.com:3333 in Oregon (same as middlecoin.com currently)
useast.middlecoin.com:3333 in N. Virginia beta
eu.middlecoin.com:3333 in Ireland beta
asia.middlecoin.com:3333 in Singapore beta
amsterdam.middlecoin.com:3333

Thanks

I did not know about asia and useast

Hopefully this information will show up on the homepage once beta phase is complete.

asia server currently gets low unexchanged and less than 100% payout yesterday, might want to consider another.
