let's make a deal.
someone attributed the profits to DOGE, but I don't see how he could know.
doge went up 50% in value today, and difficulty happened to go up from 400 to 600 in the past 48.  we're not mining catcoin.

Against my better judgement, I'm simply going to say, it gets really tiresome having to worry about what somebody else thinks is offensive.

-- Using "you" in the generic sense -- The world is not your pearl, you have no right not to be offended, and if you are, then it says a heck of a lot more about you than it does the person from whose action or words you take offense.
i merely pointed out that to use words like that was to portray himself as uneducated.

who said they're offended?  You're the first person to claim offense. You're fighting a strawman.
Sorry, did I address you?  Nevermind, both Your and bitter-miner's comments were intellectually dishonest.  The implied sense of offense is in the original comment taking exception to the word "chinamen."  So the absence of the precise word is irrelevant.
And using the dictionary definition of "liberal" reveals nothing of the modern connotation of the word with which everyone in the Western world, at least, is familiar.

Sophistry won't fly here.

NOW, How about those profit numbers today, kiddies?

i totally agree, meanings of words are completely irrelevant.. no point in reading a dictionary.. they're also "intellectually dishonest" and don't cover the meaning of liberalism..
A person who only knows the dictionary definitions of words is an illiterate in the real world.  ARe you "gay," happy, or "gay," homosexual?  The second is quite recent in dictionaries, but most of us knew the second definition as everyday speech long before.

stupid words.. i had no idea.. no idea..
Not a response, sport, a cop-out.  See it all the time, people who can't respond reasonably, so they attempt to be dismissive.  Won't wash.

i walk away, humbled and ashamed.. sometimes in life, a circle has no end..

you seem to be far more offended by 'political correctness'  than anything said here.

in fact, that was the first time that offense was raised.

and my profitability is great today, thanks for asking.
Yeah, probably am.

On startup or while it was running? If it's "only" a VRAM ripple capacitor that blew, then you might be able to still run the card fine :]
On topic - Payout looks to be good today (or at least in-line with current exchange rates), however, my rejects have been up quite a bit in the past 12 hours or so...
I don't see too many others around me with similar issues, so most likely it's a latency thing
Edit: and now they're trending back down... guess the issue resolved iteself

The computer shut down. Then sparks flew when I started it.
Yup, sounds like you blew one or more caps on startup. If you have a Gigabyte card and only one cap blew, there's a good chance the card will probably still work. I have 2 or 3 cards like this now, and they are still hashing fine. Poor design means the back of the PCB in this area can reach 100C+ very easily, ultimately leading to what you experienced.

OT: Payout looks decent today... long live DOGE :]
