Hey guys, here is the new tool I've developped to check the stats of all of my mining addresses on middlecoin. Just enter your addresses (one line by address) and let's go.

http://stratehm.net

On the right panel are the middlecoin stats and below the total stats of the selected addresses.

Enjoy !  Wink

PS: My database contains only data for 4 hours at the moment, but it will grow on a 7 days window.
SWEET!!!

Thanks!!

BTW: it would be nice if you would also add "Total:" for BTC and Hash graph/data; I know that a Total BTC (immature+unexchanged+balance) is only aproximate, but it would still be nice to see a value and line for that, too.

Nice work! I like that there are more and more utils for Middlecoin are built through community!

Diff from middlecoin increased from 512 to 1024. That's why. That number doesn't mean anything but a stat that you can compare to itself and only when diff stays the same

Yeah, that would be true for a pool mining a single coin for many hours straight.

I don't think that middlecoin really switches 1500 times a day as someone guesstimated a few pages back. But with frequent coin switching and below average performance rig (sub 500 kh/s) your chances of getting a share accepted before the pool moves on to the next block or switch to another coin occurs are lower with 1024 diff.

You actually didn't prove me wrong there I think... You are saying the same thing, but maybe don't understand that you are. You have half the chance of getting an accepted share. So your efficiency in cgwatcher (it's based on the amount of accepted shares not taking diff into account) will be halved. But the shares you do find are worth double. So it will even out in the end.

As to the coin switching. As long as you don't put --no-submit-stale in your config, you will still send your share of a previous coin to the server. And as H2O has mentioned already countless times, the server will still accept that share even if the server already switched coins.

Someone said this to him July 26th:
If the pool gets too big I would think the answer is to mine two or three best coins at once.
and H2O reply:
That's a good idea. We'd get less rejects on low hashrate coins. I'll keep it in mind as a possibility.

But he never did it in 6 months. Now he asks on Twitter for people to help with coding, but he claims this is his full-time job and has 2 employees already.
Such incompetence.

Hi,
To be fair, that would have only be interesting when the pool got too big (which is now). And he said he will
keep it in mind as a possibility, doesn't sound like a promise to me.

But he is actually implementing such an algorithm as we speak. Some of the code is already on the server (don't know if it's being used already though).
This is his private message to me in response of a question I asked him.

I am planning on making the pool split its hashrate among various currencies. I was just setting up some of that code today.

I'm not going to bother making the pool look professional, but I've got lots of plans to improve the profits, and reporting. I can't hire very many people because I don't have the servers set up in such a way as to allow people I don't trust have access.

Also, some of your accusations might hold some truth (I don't know, don't care rly), but for the majority of us, those apparently aren't enough to switch pools. There are as we speak no valid alternatives yet (I have tried) that come with such ease that you can just point your worker to your btc wallet and be sure the server can't get hacked like hashcows.

Worst case scenario (which I rly don't believe is true), if he is stealing, I still am making enough profits give the ease it comes with compared to other pools. I don't have sufficient reason to switch. And according to the total hashpower of the pool, many people feel the same.

Making suggestions is obviously allowed, but there is no point in repeating yourself over and over again (even if it were true). All you will accomplish is people getting annoyed with you and you actually getting lower trust ratings (or you get ignored).
If a person would keep repeating himself 20 times in here even when it was with positive advise, ppl would get annoyed too. You have tried to make your point, some ppl probably listened to you and left (minority) or started thinking about it. But apparently you won't accomplish more in the future or it would have already happened.

As long as people are satisfied with the result in their wallets, who gives a ****?

Okay guys i see a lot of talking about efficiency so i have a question also Smiley
A lot of people say that WU in cgminer is the best thing to watch. But my question is, are there any numbers to watch for ?
For example on my 290 rigs WU is 739/mfor one card and 828 for the second, on the 280x its 680/m for all cards but on my 7950s its 600/m.
So are this numbers okay ? How do i calculate what number is okay for each card ? Does it depend on the khs each card is mining ?

Maybe its a noob question but i could not find much info on that matter and i some help will be appreciated,

Those of you who use CGwatcher to monitor your performance, which values do you typically have in "Efficiency" field?
As I understand, it shows Getworks to Accepted shares ratio. I noticed that it used to hover between 90% and 100% on this miner (7970 at 760kh/s) before the boom of middlecoin, but nowadays it never goes above 40%. I also use "restart miner if # of accepted shares doesn't change for 3 minutes", but I guess with the latest upping to 1024 diff I have to be more conservative and set it to like 5 or 6 minutes.
What do you guys think?

My efficiency is decreasing for rigs with stats running since  a few days and is dramatically low for the rig I've just restarted.

2 2xgpus rigs were around 96% they are now around 84% without a restart.
1 1xgpu rig was around 50% and is now around 25% after a restart.

As yesterday I had quite a high unexchanged balance I can't already say if my payouts will be lowered.
My hashrate seen on middlecoin stats is still  approximatively the same (higher in fact but I added one more 7950).

There are many ways to calculate efficiency, dunnow which is the more accurate.

Why do you guys keep feeding teabag licker??  Put him on ignore and move on...

Also, you guys thinking that just because the China man with his 1000Mh/s GPU farm is gone will raise your earnings are mistaken.  I guess some of you still don't know what a PROP pool really is.

Please be advised, I have taken care of my situation and the negative rating on my Trust score has been removed.

Says the troll with a negative trust rating!!!

Look to the left. My negative is gone.

Yep ... gone down from -4 to -11

Fake ratings. Anyone can rate anybody without doing a transaction. watch I'll rate you now

This Scottish farmer walks into the neighborhood pub, and orders a whiskey.

"Ye see that fence over there?" he says to the bartender. "Ah built it with me own two hands! Dug up the holes with me shovel, chopped doon the trees for the posts by me ownself, laid every last rail! But do they call me 'McGregor the Fence-Builder?' No..."

He gulps down the whiskey and orders another. "Ye see that pier on the loch?" He continues, "Ah built it me ownself, too. Swam oot into the loch to lay the foondations, laid doon every single board! But do they call me 'McGregor the Pier-Builder?' No."

"But ye fuck ONE sheep ..."

To everyone asking questions that could have been answered by reading the last few pages, the answer is NO.  Middlecoin is stealing from you.

Your best course of action is to send .5 BTC to SimonG who will then tell you the top 3 places to mine where they don't steal from you.

sorry if this has been responded to but I skimmed through but didn't see it

The part where everyone's hashrate and btc balances were flat... h20 said it was a server issue- are those hours going to be credited back when the server updates?

Thanks

the graph was stalled. that's it. so no.
