it's simple

if you believe you'll get better results with some other mining scheme, use it
if you find the performance acceptable, point hashes at middlecoin and mine away

bickering on a forum about shit that cannot be proven--and has zero influence on results--is useless noise

if h2o's motivation to work on the pool hasn't been eaten away by you fucking retards, it surely will be

Well, that is hardly likely Cheesy He DOES earn more than most people on this pool so a little criticism he will surely be able to take and live with...

However, people like Tealover does try to harm H20 and without the slightest trace of proof it is, in my opinion, a crime - slander.

Tealover is now IGNORED (thanks for pointing out the option, it will make me feel so much better).

You're saying there is no proof, but I have asked very specific questions and I have gotten no response. Like what happened with the 90+ BTC that was refunded? It wasn't put back in the pool. Also, the chart showed over 140BTC and only 107 were paid out. I'd like to know the answers to these questions.

Thanks a lot!

The final result seems to be this?

So one "GC3355 core" does 84 khash/s scrypt (besides the 1031 mhash/s SHA256) ?

Just looking at the scrypt ... to replace one fast GPU card, I would still need approx 8-9 of those GC3355 cores,
right?

at $65 for 60khash, that's horrible lol
Power consumption is awesome, but overall price for hash is nothing special at all.

Thank god.

My thoughts exactly, doesn't look like too threatening for us GPU scrypt miners.

$65 is for the first 50 test chip……
Not RTM price

thank you for this!  most significant piece of info i've read in a week on the forum.

found some more info if anyone's interested.  http://www.cybtc.com/article-468-1.html

i've been waiting for a third party to get at these newer generation ASICs; not vaporware anymore!   can't wait to get rid of all these video cards (:

It's almost been a month.
Many Chinese people can read English.
But few US and EU people can read Chinese. -_-b

When I google translate that page in to English, it reads like a manga adventure story, written by a retarded computer programmer.

When looking at just the LTC aspect of that chip, the company's website states 60kH/s for 4-5W.

Of course you get the additional BTC mining capacity thrown in as well..

Any feedback is highly appreciated. If it's used, I might make a forumpage about it.

Couldn't understand it, sorry. But a forumpage with more information about how to use would be nice if you have the time to spare.

Might want to clean up your language a bit, to make a more serious impression Wink

I just made my own spreadsheet with mining profits, electricity cost, etc. that I can experiment with.

But I did not do a forward projection like you did (if I understood that correctly), which would be nice to have.

How are people hashing that much? Are these generally companies? I can't even imagine an individual with 500+ GPUs

This address is a bit suspect for me, each time visit middlecoins www he have more Mh Smiley

I think that only using at least 400-450 units of HD 7990 you can reach that hashing power.

He is for sure working in the factory and each day after work he takes one with him through the backdoor  Tongue

500 MH/s is equal to 660 R9 280x's at 750k each.

I created an Excel file with the following columns:
--- SNIP ---
And all that goes into ONE LINE in Excel, because then the next line is just filling in the values, pulling a few calculation cells down - and the result is there.
...
Does this help?  Overanswered, I guess :-)
Whoa Drakoin! That is deep! Smiley

Can you send me the file you made to see if i can make some order out of all this information stream?

I don´t really know an awfull a lot, but im learning (or at least trying!)...

Happy to help. Welcome to the strange&mesmerizing world of cryptocurrencies :-)
Myself, I got so much help here.  This web based collaboration work is amazing.
And here is your answer. Overanswered again :-)

DOWNLOAD THE EXCEL SPREADSHEET HERE:

Im going to see your file later on...
But thanks for helping me out (and others who will use it!) Smiley

Any feedback is highly appreciated. If it's used, I might make a forumpage about it.

H20,

It seems that middlecoin is getting way too big. Is it possible to mine several coins at one time and spread out the hashrate and give reward based on hashing average so there is no penalty for mining unprofitable coins? Seems like we are doing harm to alt coin market. Maybe we can mine more sustainably if we mine 4-5 alt coins at a time.

I'll have a steak sandwich and a... steak sandwich
I took the liberty of giving the pool website a quick makeover. I find myself staring at the graphs and tables on the site quite a lot these days and the current design is, well, not amazing. You can view my mockup here:

http://rickardandersson.github.io/middlecoin

For the sake of convenience, I only included part of the huge table on the front page. In addition, all report links in the table point to the same sample page. I also took the liberty of changing the colors used in the graphs by coinGeek. The colors I used are:

Immature: #ecdf9a
Unexchanged: #a6e38e
Balance: black (2 px wide)
Accepted: #7cb5ee
Rejected: #215b95
Three hour average: black

It's not the most exciting design (I'm not a designer), but I believe it is at least a bit better than what we have today.

h20 and coinGeek: If you like any or all of my changes, by all means, use them.
