My local hashrate is showing up as 2.8mh but my online stats have been fluctuating between 1.9 and 2.2. Has any one else been facing a similar issue?

My accepted shares look good too. Started it at 4pm est and only have a 1.4% rejection
Whoa that sounds absolutely terrible man. Are you using eu or us server? I havn't tried this. I hope it solves it self man.

Is everything working alright?

I don't seem to be accumulating much at all since the last payout though my hashrate shows up fine. My balance is blank, though most other people around my hashrate (1.4Mh/s) have a tiny amount at least.

Looks like we are mining to immature balance - a coin that needs to mature before it can be spent/exchanged. Look if your immature is up.

Middlecoin "can't" just switch to any coin at any time. This pool is pushing 9 GH/s now, how many pizzas is that anyway? Grin

Even if the order books are there we still have the issue of "blowing up" some of the smaller faster coins and H20 is and has been aware of this for some time.

If the pool hash could somehow be load balanced Huh with dynamic quotas? so as to not overwhelm the smaller coins and allocate more hash as difficulty increases (if market demand allows), that could be a start.

Sure middlecoin could just switch to whatever network h2o feels like? As long as the buy orders are there on an exchange.  Heck, let's just selfish-mine these coins with blatent 51% attacks!  More profit, more BTC, less shitty alts.

Now if only middlecoin would offer auto-payouts in LTC - that's where the real potential lies for 2014.

This would not be within the best interest of us or h20. In fact, it isn't in our best interest to advertise middlecoin, although it is for h20, the guy with all the magic that we want to keep happy.

It's a balancing act, no doubt. And as long as it is profitable, more will come, until it is not.

mini-PCI permits something like a 2W draw, I think. The link says to use an external power supply for whatever you're sticking in the 1x slot. Pretty sure you wouldn't want to use that.

Yeh thats why i use the powered riser, Or even this

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mini-PCI-E-PCI-express-to-PCI-E-1X-Card-adapter-Riser-Extender-USB-port-/271353807736?pt=AU_CablesConnectors&hash=item3f2df28378&_uhb=1

The issue I see is that there are chips and diodes in the way If I were to slide this is the slot, Strangley on the MOBO the slot is on the side Not on the top so how the hell would someone fit this in the slot. hmmm Id need a flexible version I think

Maybe you could take all this off-topic discussion to a new thread?

This thread is about middlecoin, there is a whole section about mining rigs.

Is there a point of time where they decide its time to move on to another coin, how does it work, i think there is alot of potential here

There is a lot of potential there. It's also probably rather difficult from a technical standpoint.

If the pool hash could somehow be load balanced Huh with dynamic quotas? so as to not overwhelm the smaller coins and allocate more hash as difficulty increases (if market demand allows), that could be a start.

Then you have the issue of fitting the orderbook/profitability metrics to the switching algorithm, getting the coins traded for btc and distributing the payout.

This is probably a huge challenge for any number of reasons, but the rewards could be significant IMO.

I would like to know in general terms, what barriers if any could those interested help in removing?

I expect any programing that accomplishes this would be strictly proprietary in nature. If increased revenue forecast would justify funding for something like this, is that something that would interest others in the pool?

ALl good Wink I have worked it out You just need good ventalation and a good setup, Yes 2 Powersupplies And an adapter www.add2psu.com.

Anyway my question was can you fit a card on the MiniPCI? With an adapter offcourse? and do adapters exist?

Hey just curious, you know the MOBO how some have 1x slot 16x slot etc..... Mine has 4 - x16 and 2 - x1 and 1 x MiniPCI slot...

I know I can plug in cards on the 16x and 1 x but what about the MiniPCI? this way I can have 7 cards total on the board

I wouldn't put 7 cards in one machine. Too much heat and you'd also need two power supplies.  You are better off with two separate rigs in my opinion.

I've been on middlecoin for the past two weeks with 6Mh/s. (Running 7 R9 290 cards)

Week 1, Dec 16-22, I received 1.2BTC
Week 2, Dec 23-29, I received 0.6BTC

50% decline but still making a good profit after paying for the electricity.

It just means that the server generating the stats is having trouble getting exchange rates from an exchange.

The pool server seems to be getting exchange rates fine though. I'm not sure what's up. Hopefully it resolves itself.
Blocked due to excessive requests maybe?

Cheers for being around to answer your mining minions =p.

H2o: what's with the "exchange down" under the unexchange balances? Haven't seen that before.
