300kh/s is 300kh/s no matter where you mine.

It has been mentioned numerous times before in this thread that the 512 diff evens out in the long run.

Dare I say that the reason people might get slightly better results here as opposed to Hashcows is all down to the operator and his skills at exchanging and such.

Also your account is much more secure here than it would be at other multipools.

Completely agree, the diff means it takes longer to find, but u get a better reward. In the long run it evens out, 300k is fine.

This pool makes everyone good returns because H20 is doing a good job.

Any reason my user chart hasn't updated in over 12 hours?  Haven't seen anything mentioned in this thread.

The continued growth in the number of users on Middlecoin in the last week is the short answer. Also, over the holidays there is less server babysitting going on.

The graphs are updated in the order the data files were created and the JSON, like the home page, is sorted by hash rate.

The newer users and users with lower hash rates will be processed later in each run. If the process hangs or the server needs a reboot, it's more likely that these users don't get run for several rounds. That's been happening lately so, if that's you, that's why. Sorry about that.

I'm building out a new server this morning so look for improvement soon.

After adding in a time difference check for python mdc watcher between local and server time, it appears middlecoin JSON data is always outdated by 5+ minutes and only updates roughly once per thirty minutes. Is this in line with others' findings?

Are you sure about the thirty minute finding? Interesting.

I'm not saying this isn't what's happening right now, but I've been collecting data from the JSON every ten minutes and I know I've seen changes happening at about that scale in the recent past.

hashcows, security problems aside had server issues. i dont think they had any problems with the coins themselves.

Is it convienent to mine on this pool with low hashrate, say 300kh/s?

Best regards,
ilpirata79

it's convenient to mine on this pool, just not with the low hash rig like yours. Diff on mc is 512, you won't benefit from the pool with 300KHs.

Im mining with 200 KHs and im doing fine. Tried hashcows but got better results here.

I think that if more people mine the same coin, it becomes less valuable because the market becomes saturated and therefore profits are reduced. (That's just my understanding of it, I'm not claiming to be an expert or anything)
If you go to page 1, even H2o says:

You should show the current mined coin.

Unfortunately I think that showing the current coin would make a bunch of people switch to mining that, lowering our profits.

I have toyed with the idea of giving coins aliases. I might do that.

If you can think of any ways to give miners more information, without spilling the beans on the coins, let me know.

So by this logic, more users = less profit, correct? or am I misunderstanding?
More hash rate to compete with us is what he meant.  If someone else is finding the blocks it does us no good
Another point is that hashcows and Middlecoin are probably both mining the same coin most of the time anyway

so them coming over here probably won't change things too much

If you wish, your options are to investigate further, or try something like Multipool if you are around more and wish to be more in-control of your mining and trading. It's ultimately your choice, after all.

For me it's not working fine.  Yesterday I've received half the previous day, and the lowest amount of the whole week.
