Dumb question I know but what does a IRC channel do for you exacly? Or I should say how do I use it and what will it do for me?

I've set up an IRC channel #middlecoin on FreeNode.
I'm working on the historical graphs. They're tricky. With these in place, they should eclipse the need for the "today's profit" number.
I probably should filter out the non-active addresses. The main page is getting kind of big.

i was able to make it work at first but it only gave me a tiny 13kH\s .. then i managed to correct the setting and now im good , 1.1 gh running
wow nice.
cant see the 1.1GH on the stats page though

No. How much detail do you need?
Here's a simple tutorial:
get a bitcoin address
download cgminer: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/
run cgminer with the options:
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -u

The last three days have not even covering my electricity, and less than mining LTC directly. My payouts she be near 0.04788 @ 0.042 BTC/MH/s.
Do you mean BTC per MH/s per day? If you're using the units BTC/MH/s, you would be looking at numbers like 0.00000003433
If you meant BTC per MH/s per day, 0.042 is way above what LTC makes directly. Unless someone wants to prove my math wrong.

I have two 7970's hashing at 700 kh/s+ (peaking over 730kh/s briefly), and they trend to a combined 1390 kh/s weekly. But lately on your pool, its dropped to 1/3 of the btc/day of when I started:

I agree with your maths, but I only got 2/3rds of that yesterday. As I said before there is no way of knowing why, if it is at my end or the pool had a bad day.

How many rigs do you have? What is the hash rate for each rig? Do you have 7950 or 7970?

I've been mining this pool for 17 days with 1.4MH, and each day my payouts are substantially less and are decreasing. The last five days' payouts have been:
0.04572
0.03745
0.03897
0.00000
0.03146
0.02386
The last three days have not even covering my electricity, and less than mining LTC directly. My payouts she be near 0.04788 @ 0.042 BTC/MH/s.
Thanks, the 0.02386 number for yesterday is in ratio to what I got, so it is not a small miner problem. I'll stick to the pool I'm already at for now.

An indication of how many hashes I'm producing would be useful, so I know if any of my miners are down. It would be nice to have multiple different workers too.

Having a low hashrate in this pool is fine. The only drawback is that you have to have a 0.01 BTC threshold for a payout.
The point I was trying to make is that unless you publish the pools BTC/MH/day I cannot verify that by comparing my return to the pool's as a whole. It could be that small miners are disadvantaged in some way, it could have been a configuration issue at my end or just a bad luck day. I have no way of knowing.
It didn't work for me yesterday. I'm not complaining, just giving feedback.
