Cgminer reports 3.4% rejects on U.S. EAST here  since my power came back on around 40 hours ago.

I think it was ~ 4.5% before then.

Not that the power outage has anything to do with it,  just using that as my own frame of reference.

Throwing 15% of my hashrate at it,  or ~ 550 to 560 Kh.

Let's say the last 5 payments as reference:
239.45 BTC
219.59 BTC
443.37 BTC
354.32 BTC
266.92 + 92.78 BTC

On average: 332.20 BTC/day. Now looking at the power graph we "see" about 21000 Mhash. So we have an average of 0.0158 BTC/Mhash/day. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also from this the fee is subtracted.
Badly incorrect.  Notice that the pool's exchange balance never starts at 0 after a payout.  You would have to subtract an unknown chunk of exchanged but unpaid balances from the "payments" you are quoting.
Badly corrected. I would have to agree with you if the starting point varied greatly every day. Instead it starts at about the same point, so they might as well start from zero. Even if we exclude that, there is still some difference.

However there has to a high hash payment source recorded for every day so the entire pool is averaged into calculation. The difference between servers is still important for profitability.

Well, let's presume 50 BTC at the start of every day is left (this is likely often an underestimate).  That means the daily income was:
239.45 - 50 BTC = 189.45
219.59 - 50 BTC = 169.45
443.37 - 50 BTC = 393.37
354.32 - 50 BTC = 304.32

= 264.1475 BTC/day = 0.0125784523809524 BTC/MH.

So ya, your numbers are way off.

My workers are solid at ~4MH - but middlecoin wanders from 1.5 to 4.2 mhash all over the place
http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1KkfPxwQTsTawfuFgPxn78DuVvdJUxpcvv.html

miners are all pointed at USwest

same as mine on useast...just switched over to uswest, so much for that idea.

But why the jumping all over? It doesn't look like I'm doing any work in Middlecoin's eyes Smiley How do I know my miners aren't doing all this hashin for nothin? Tongue

useast has terrible rejects it seems, my ping isnt good to amsterdam but the payout is better there

sigh, why are things different on different servers? do the stats actually represent work you do on all servers combined? what if one user/wallet was doing work on all the different servers simultaneously? (letting work overflow through pool list in cgminer, ie not running with --failover-only) ...

Those are all the million dollar questions.

unfortunately i think your method is terribly flawed. you have too much room for error.

youre guessing at what the average hashrate is for the whole pool. rather than work of the individual servers.

and you arent taking into account the fees. youre going by rough "eyeball" values. when you really need to be looking at controlled hashrates and ACTUAL IN YOUR WALLET payments.

unless you could get an accurate reading of the average hashrate of the whole pool everyday and then remember to take off 3.4% (which it appears you didnt) from the total BTC generated.

How has it been today?

.016 btc. Monitor has gone off 5 times to tell me  I am below 1.9 on a 3 my miner.

Even my good days I am only making about  .011per mh.

What has your reject rate been like? At least based on what you wrote you won't be doing much better on wafflepool or clevermining.com

Check their states; they are at 0.010~0.011 btc right now (per 1 MH/s hash rate)

Before the update to all servers running  the new  beta code I was getting g 6-8% rejects with zero "disconnects". Now I get 1-2 and middle coin drops my connection. I use the term disconnect loosely because I am still connected and sending valid work. But middlecoin says I am not and it shows in my payout.  I am making .007-.008 a day?  I can definitely beat that.

I'm getting around 8% rejects on USEast right now.

Too lazy to fix it... just spent all afternoon locating a bad GPU and reconfiguring a rig.

Now time to place an order for some new toys.

Daddy needs more hash.

No problem on other pools.

Almost 100% rejection? Post your config; weird.

USEast still experiencing a large number of rejects? Throwing around 14.5MH/s at the server right now and getting 1.7MH/s in rejects, which is way higher than normal

MC was supposed to be easy - point miners, add BTC address, done.

I'm spending more time keeping up with this thread than drinking beer. Tried to do both, but it spoils the moment (of drinking beer Wink.

So, it is now beer o'clock  Grin
