Remember previously I mentioned a change of jobs? Well, they're desperate for me to start with them and I'm desperate to get started too! So I managed to get my bosses to release me early and I'll be starting with them in 8 days instead of 6 weeks!

This means my 6 month probation starts quicker, my overall mood and enthusiasm will be lifted and I can continue to work on MASC and PRX again.

XSCR:
Wow, what a month our friends at Securus are having, they took the top spot on MASC and payments in XSCR are flooding in. MASC is grateful to receive funds as these are sellable (Directly to Aureum, with a guaranteed buyback price) and this should allow MASC to buy even more PRX from the exchanges.

MASC
Current account balance stands at 8.83 million PRX and has taken around 100 stake rewards in the past 6 hours. Of the 1300 daily staking rewards, MASC takes around 400 of these away from the hands of sellers and puts them in the MASC Reserve.

PRX
There are no buy walls on Crex and it pains me to see it, however Graviex is trading and affords everyone an opportunity to buy below 1 sat. The recent BTC pump has been nice, but altseason should be around the corner.
I did a bit of research into OneCoin (Massive scam coin from 2016) and it was 100% marketing and 0% existence. I'm going to reach out to some marketers to see what we can do, to positively promote PRX and avoid any legal issues. I do not like scams, but if we market what we have, it should produce results.

Wallet Update:
We will upgrade to a newer pivx wallet, when they release it.

If you know any marketers, please let me know. I will otherwise be reaching out to LinkedIn marketers to do the promotions.

Other than that, I hope you're all ok and if you're locked down, it's in a nice place. I've had my first Covid Vaccine and would encourage you all to do the same when you get the opportunity.

First proper post of the new year!

Hope @everyone is ok and doing well.

Life has been a bit crazy on my side and with Snow in Madrid....the world has gone truly mad.

MASC

Development of MASC has been held up by both dwindling numbers on the prx valuation and on my free time to commit to working on it. Gives me great pleasure to say that I have secured a new job (in a city centre) and after a 6 month probation period, will be the most secure job I've ever had in my life. This affords me less stress and more opportunities for working from home. Removing travel just one day a week afford me a good few hours to get things in order and work on MASC. This is currently impossible as I work in the middle of a rural area with little to no cell reception.

I won't be starting for another 6 weeks, but I don't give a damn about my current role anymore, so I've alleviated a lot of my personal stresses.
Clearer mind, happier times, able to focus.

I'm not going to make promises as I wouldn't want to fail any of you, but I will have more opportunity to refine MASC and the new look site.

Great news about BTC and LTC as I have some of both, but sadly I sold my Eth years ago at €200 a coin and it's now worth 1000. Hodl your prx folks.

Site improvements and additional features could bring investment and we could begin to climb out of the low position we are in.

If I can get more MASC payments, I can put the walls up on the exchanges to build a good solid base for our growth.

Let's make 2021 the year of growth that we all deserve (except those who dumped, they deserve to see us fly and cry about what could have been.

MASC:
The upgrade is pretty much complete. Got a few nodes that are causing grief but the original nodes are still online so no rewards lost.
Any nodes that have the status "Please Start Alias" will be DM'd to you.
Any nodes for major debtors will be cut off today.
The old servers will be cancelled today.
New node creation will be reopened today.

That's a lot of Todays!

Price:
Pricing went for a nice pump this week hitting 5 sats. big walls cut down and some movement in higher walls shrinking. In all, good progression!
This means the price for a node at Masc is lower than previous weeks at 97prx per day. Almost back to breaking even!
A little pump from BTC and our USD price will be enough to make MASC a self sustaining solution again.

Hope you're all doing well. The UK advice for Covid19 is "Hands clean, Face covered, Space yourself 2 meters apart".
This is the second wave, it wont be the last if people keep integrating. It's a time for solitude and contactless technology.

Investor Interest:
There are currently some discussions with a group who want to adopt blockchain technology. PRX may not be the perfect solution for them, but the conversation channels are open and I'm happy to consult with them. Once their needs are established, the could become investors or they may just need to buy a heap of PRX to pay for MASC services. Only time will tell. More on this if it develops,

On the bright side, operational update regarding MASC: Going to lease some new servers to replace the existing ones as they're not performing to the best of their abilities and it's causing me considerable hours of effort/late nights.

This will involve a migration of nodes over to the new servers but for the majority of nodes, there will be no changes required, a seemless transition.

Some nodes (Mainly IPv4) may have issues migrating but I will be reaching out to make people aware if this is the case.

I'm genuinely too tired to do this change today as I only had 4 hours sleep last night, but I'll be commissioning the servers this week and doing the migration at the weekend.

Weekly Ann : 13/09/2020

It's been a pretty good week for MASC with no errors reported, but sadly one of the new coins seems to have exited (Thanks to Bullau for catching this). There may be a takeover and the coin could keep running, but we will have to see what happens. Sadly it does mean that 60+ nodes have been taken down.

I figure this bit of information may be useful to you all going forward so here's the income for MASC this week:
22300 PRX /  $6.91 (US).

As you can see, MASC isn't making a ton of money and it's not absorbing PRX from the marketplace as much as we need it to. If you host masternodes with other providers and they're costing you cash/btc/ltc etc, please talk to me and we'll organize a move over.If you're not happy with the service, talk to me and we'll make it better.

In addition to this, PRX has 818 MNs online at the moment and I've today decided to ping them all for fun!
563 of these IPs don't reply to pings (Including the ipv6 nodes at MASC) and this got me thinking......
Perhaps the best way to stop phantoms is to enforce the listen switch on masternodes.

If a MN doesn't listen, we could then flag it as a phantom and then send out a "Ban" command. This would get the phantoms cut off and hopefully bring nodes back to MASC and promote paid MNs again (or take these nodes offline so that only people investing in PRX will get the rewards and benefits).

Feel free to discuss here but I think this will be a workable solution going forward, just need some preparation and announcements before it happens to give everyone a few days to migrate any phantoms to real nodes.

On top of that, I'm going to make a list of the wallet addresses of each of the IP's that don't ping and if needs be, we can ban these addresses.

Been an entereing day to theorize solutions!

This year has been absolutely horrific for me personally and crypto in general.
We've also had the Covid pandemic making waves throughout every community.

@everyone Did you see the explorer change last week?
I added a label to clearly indicate the MASC account so that it was visible. I'm thinking if your account is in the top 100 on http://explorer.proxynode.network/richlist and you fancy being "slightly less anonymous", I can add a "Safe Hands" label to your address. This would show potential buyers which wallets are safely with hardcore, dedicated investors who will not be selling their bag in a heartbeat.
This could inspire people to buy in, if we can show 30% of the funds in safe hands, along with 24% locked in MNs.

Sunday announcements have been forgotten about recently, so here's a Sunday one (UK Time: 3am)

PRX price is held strong with 2 sat wall and 3 sat wall. There won't be a break until we buy through the 3/4 sats and people stop selling their coins.

BTC/ETH/LTC/Everything has dumped this week. Brutal crypto week, but as most of us know, with big gains comes bit losses. This is ALWAYS temporary. I'm going to move some RL funds around and plan to buy some BTC to reinforce the walls.

I've spent like 8 hours trying to fix a server at masc and it's much calmer now, but this has made me think alot about "refreshing" the backend. Hopefully @everyone has experienced MASC and they're happy with the uptime provided and the tech support whenever there are any issues etc, but I think with a new interface and a "more improved" backend, everything will work better.

I've also got to reduce costs. Currently the domains are hosted on a mini vps (MASC and Proxynode) and it's costing me too much. Going to redirect name servers etc and have everything hosted more feasibly.

With more financial savings, I'll have more money to pump into BTC and then into PRX. I'm just lucky that the price is low so I can buy an even bigger bag

I've updated the SSL certificate for MASCSolutions but will need to restart the webserver to do so. Also going to do some installs this weekend. This weekend may have a little downtime for MASC's frontend, but the backend will continue to host your nodes safely, without interruption. If you're wanting any new nodes, set them up prior to Saturday.

MASC LTC Customers - good news.

It took a while finding data for the price of PRX every day for the year to date and LTC for the year to date, then cross referencing the two, multiplying them by the rate at the time and the ltc amount, converting it to PRX and yeah, well, enough about all that.

ALL LTC deposits (Jan-Now) have been corrected in MASC to the true corrected value of PRX on that day.

Volumes may be different as I have the average price of LTC on the day you paid, not the spot price. Hopefully this will be enough that we can all agree that you're balance is acceptably accurate.

Sadly, the commission payments for PRX referrals is not salvagable. I cannot restore this.
To those who referred, all balances were zero'd to remove any debt that you had wrongly accrued due to the fault and you are welcome to rebuild your referral bonuses, however these cannot be recovered by me as I have no way to track it all.

It would appear, MASC is back to full strength again!

Spent some time this week trying to get some alliances with other coins to see if we can help each other out etc. I managed to come across a marketing guy and had a good conversation. May have to do some service exchanges to get some help, but with a good marketing plan, we should be able to get a wider audience for PRX and get moving in the right direction.

BIG THANKS! MASC has acquired an additional 100+ nodes this week after I said it would be unsustainable to continue. The additional income from this will absolutely help keep things going and the inbound PRX should be enough to turn the price around.
Sadly, during the night, someone sold millions of PRX and burned through the 2 sat wall, leaving very little behind. It's definitely a struggle to help the community when no-one tells us why they're selling their stash. I agree, it's crypto and no-one has to justify their behaviour and the whole point of a decentralised currency is to "not be traced", but if the people who are selling at such low prices could let me know why, I'd really appreciate it. I will not share your names, just your reasons for exiting. With that info, PRX can work to recover and prevent others from leaving and hopefully regain you as an investor.

I appreciate movement is slow at the moment but PRX has not been forgotten about, it's still very much a priority and remember, selling your coins for these sat prices doesn't bring you a great return, but if you're invested in other projects, you can still use the PRX to host your nodes at MASC, even if you don't have a PRX node running! You can stake with PRX and use the gains to pay your bill for running any other MN coin hosted at MASC. This is how we get PRX out of circulation and make the price climb. You can also buy $1's worth of PRX at the exchanges and help out. Or $10

Someone tried to inject some SQL code into the MASC databases. They failed, but they were able to wipe all the transactions from the table from the beginning of time. This causes a pretty big issue for the billing side of things and I've had to remove the point of exploit which was "Paying the old way". There is no plan to return this feature at this time. If you use the old way, please go to the new way and perform a test payment of 50 prx to ensure your account is credited with the funds before sending "large amounts".

I fired my PC up yesterday ready to do some MASC and PRX maintenance. Got taken away to do "1 thing" and I finished it today at 2pm haha. Everytime I try to put time aside for building/fixing, something gets in the way and then I see the price has circled 2/3 sats for weeks.

Why is the price low? Well, the MASC model was built to ensure our survival as a coin, here's where the biggest fault lies in my opinion.
The price per node should be 122 prx per node per day. Nodes were generating 40 prx per day.......node owners should have been "forced" to buy more PRX to pay their bill and this in turn raises the sat price, making the payments lower at MASC. The reduction in rate has caused this to become completely untenable.

The node price at MASC will increase today, to one dollar per month. If this is unacceptable for you to continue hosting your nodes with MASC, I understand and accept. MASC cannot continue to operate at these losses and sustain the hodl of coins, MASC has not sold coins but it is now functioning at a significant loss and unsustainable for the future. Servers will be discontinued as the capacity is much greater than the demand and the service will be fine-tuned to prevent mass setups. Anyone wishing to support MASC during this time, please credit your account using the LTC method. Anyone wishing to support Proxynode, topup with PRX.

Also:
Along with the SQL issue, I now have to try and recover the DB's values and correct everyone's balances which is a mammoth task to complete and I have to do all of this on my wife's birthday, she's less than impressed :smile:  I'm not letting PRX go down without a fight and not all customers have PRX nodes. Many will buy the coins in and that will increase our sats & Popularity. The old model wasn't working to increase our sat count, but it didn't let us fall this far either.

Happy August @everyone

I'd love to give you good news, but right now, I'm just doing all I can to keep everything going when something breaks. New job is ten hours a day including travel, then eating, family duties and getting ready for the day after has absolutely wiped out every hour of every day.

The weekend is my one chance, but of course, that's when the family wants to "do stuff" and of course, that means I have to be there. This weekend we saw both sides of the family as the UK approaches a second lockdown. It's also my daughter's birthday today so have had to plan the celebration and help make her day awesome.

In the background there have been conversations around beginning a partnership with Vault, performing a swap and locking coins in Cryo. At this time, it's in the "idea" phase and until we work out some sort of plan around how to achieve what we need to, it won't become an official presentation. Didn't want you to think I'd forgotten about you all, but this is an idea brought to me by community members and I've encouraged them to gather more info. It's everyone's community and all ideas will be considered.

Hope you're all well and I'll try to be more active. Doesn't help that the internet at work is terrible and there's no mobile data signal. I don't even have phone reception for 90% of the day.

 MASC issue.

Sadly, there seems to have been a fault on MASC on July 10th which has meant everyone has been credited with hundreds of thousands of free PRX that didn't actually exist.

I've therefore deleted all payments during that period and have gone through the painful task of validating all legitimate payments made, manually.

Sorry for any confusion but you may need to check your balance tomorrow as you could find yourself in a deficit.

I will also kill all nodes on accounts with negative balances this weekend.

I won't lie, this weekend has been maintenance, not progress, so this update may be uninspiring to many.

The bootstrap server at MASC has been doing it's thing, closing wallets, performing a backup and then it should reopen the wallet. This has failed for multiple wallets, but not all. Plenty of investigation later and there was no cause. The only solution was to try and add delays. These also didn't help as hoped. New script written to check if they were online or offline and attempt to wake them back up. This worked for one, but not for others. It's also 9pm here and I've not really had enough time to myself to get onto discord this weekend.

Short summary, MASC is currently running 650 nodes, most are PRX followed by Securus. There's an agreement in place for a new coin to use MASC as their chosen partner but that project is taking time to get launched etc.
MASC is also in discussions about hosting multiple block explorers for a community. Heap of work to get them all online, but it should be worth it when the time comes. It should also keep MASC afloat during this bitcoin stagnation.

Kids have broken up for "summer holiday" here, and I expect that's a global thing, so best wishes to your kids/grandkids/brothers and sisters for their vacation. It's a strange time where kids have been off for so long already that they haven't got a clue what to do with themselves anyway.....so this is a very trying time for parents.

What a great day to be doing an Announcement

@everyone WHAT A 24 HOURS IT HAS BEEN!!!!

Proxynode appears to have attracted some well funded investors who have bought in and caused some phenomenal growth in just a short period of time.

We hit 20 sats. Remember those days? Well, we need buywalls and we need them asap. The http://proxynode.network/ main page video demonstrates (in a fun way) how building a tower with no support, falls hard. We must fortify our investments by building prevention. 13 sat wall, 15 sat wall, 17 sat wall. If you can sell some other coins to build the walls without negatively affecting other projects, this would be an ideal way to recycle coins in crypto and make PRX as stable as possible.

It was a solid swing in the right direction. MASC node hosting costs dropped from 74 prx to 27 prx due to this activity. The more we pump, the cheaper it gets!

Tech updates:
MASC is building dip3 node automated setup for coins.
Lots of research about pivx/phantoms and if there is any solution away from paying for a wallet conversion.
Functions added to 24Sizzle(Discord Bot): using ! as the trigger:
!price will give you the price in btc/gbp/eur/rub and btc.
!masc gives you the daily rate for node hosting at MASC per node. (Thanks to @Clapidos for this idea).

Announcemnt for Firday the 20th Dec.
**MASC work**
Many little improvements have been added to the system, including a self healing bot that detects any badly made nodes and rebuilds them. Currently automating the github download of all wallets' most recent versions. It's going well! This will enable MASC to update to the latest wallet without constantly having to be told "Hey, X has updated their wallet and my nodes are offline". Every automation and efficiency allows more time to invest in adding new coins that are then self-managed/self updated and self repaired.

**PRX Wallet**
Some improvements are going to be coming to PRX's wallet. Dev work is underway to get this updated and will be released probably in the new year. Not many visual changes in the QT wallet, but some better error handling.

**Trivia Quiz**
Big shout out to Lobashka for winning the top prize at Trivia : 2500 PRX credit at MASC. Honourable mentions go to MrBruut, Massague and particularly Katarina for answering "The most ancient computer in the world" with "Antikythera Mechanism". Trivia is great as it taught me something I never knew Hope to see you guys on the next round, Sunday at 15:00 GMT seems to be the new time for it.

**MASC Fees**
Due to a drop in MN count, Rewards are now every 19 hours occasionally, this will mean you get 160 prx from a node within one billing cycle. Current daily price is 119 prx (at the time of checking) and there are still MANY debtors at MASC partly due to the email issue and partly due to people not setting up new nodes (which would help them see their balance). I'm going to reach out 1 more time to those in debt and if there is no reply, I will be disabling nodes which will increase the coins for those who do pay.

Also, my car broke so I'm spending today fixing it
