Did they ever disclose if any POS devices are being used in South America?

I am not 100% sure but I think yes. But to be 100% sure I would suggest you to ask them the question in Pundi's official telegram handle.

They never answer questions directly there about their outlay of devices

If you knew that, why didn't you just pursue the channels that this information would be more accurately available

EDIT: I, myself have yet to see any actual real life evidence of the project's acclaimed accomplishments to date in regards to any POS devices/XPhone itself. (medium articles is not of proof either). I would rather see either some live stream videos/youtube presentations of actual working devices.

Apart from one video from the CEO itself, I couldn't find a single video on YT where the consumer was paying using XPASS. They need a good marketing guy I guess

Good marketing is some advertisement by a company...  Great marketing is REAL users using an actual product and others getting interested in it cause they envy those that have it Wink

[VIDEO] A Closer Look at the Pundi X Cryptocurrency Merchant Device at the Afro Asia Fintech Festival 2019

looks like Pundi x need partnerships with companies who wants to start accepting crypto payments. sumsung is already working on that and making crypto built-in app in their new phones. if crypto become regulate then the partnerships happens very fast by my point of view.

What is your relationship to Pundi X team?

I think he/she just posted the post on behalf of PundiX team and also managed the bounty campaign of Pundi back during the ICO.

Thank you for the post.

Pundi X Unveils their blockchain based X-Phone in GSMA Mobile 360 Africa event in Kigali, Rwanda. Here's the link to the article.

Thank you for the link.

At $599 I think the XPhone is too expensive.

It's not that expensive IMO because Finney from Sirin Lab costs around $899 and HTC's exodus cost around 699-799.
If XPhone isn't meant for 3rd world / developing countries  then it's not expensive, But if XPhone is to be used by the whole world then price has to come down a lot.
why should prices drop so much when Xphone is used throughout the world? isn't this a very good thing? You can see PundiX that will get the effect, and investors will also arrive because the Xphone producer is Pundi X
Price has to drop so people could afford the XPhone in developing countries, I don't know if it could be done but If it can be then Pundi X and It's products are going to rule the world, Just imagine half the world population using Pundi X and It's products.. Those investing now will be filthy rich.

But still, it is long way to go now because now some countries are getting more awareness about the pundix and their POS machines because in the coming days we might see they will add many other potentials to their list for buying a product with the coin through their POS machines.
and that will increase demand from NPXS,
you can see now NPXS is experiencing a 5% increase with a total marketcap $ 152,184,845 USD

Seems iphone 8 sells for $900+ in Rwanda http://www.yubeyi.com/apple-iphone-8-plus-64gb-gold.html  there must be some money there if xphone is selling for 600

EDIT: Romania a 3rd world country for example average salary is 300 Eur/month, and many girls there have newest iphones.

I never ever heard or read anybody say that Romania (or any member of the EU) was a "3rd world country"

Do your research (and talk to ppl from there):

http://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/third-world-countries/

Romania, Russian Federation, Rwanda

No need to research, I merely stated I never heard or read anybody say Romania or any EU member country was a "3rd world country"

Although it is off topic but you can explore fact about that country. I hope in future the X-Phone will get succeed as  adoption is increasing and more people are looking forward to get this kind of phone who will be fully loaded with all blockchain related tools.

Maybe there's some concerns with how to deliver some statements here, it's not the value of the coin but the value of the Xphone since the target is all over the world it's also needs to be friendly with third world countries, the intentions is really nice and if ever this becomes reality then all those investors will benefits with this project's success.
