is this... everyone should watch the order books on the qrk market and make up your own mind.
If you are watching this you can see clearly it is a manipulation, these often happen on sundays around this time for obvious reasons.
The person/people trying to manipulate it down ( not hard with the cryptsy qrk volume) is very new to this. He is making it so very obvious.
I won't say why it is easy to spot this but if you are a regular trader....watch the order book. It is so silly and amateurish .... i guess they either haven't done it many times before or else guess most people are not watching at this time on a sunday evening. Even the time for it is too obvious The intention is not to maximise profit whilst getting out, they would not be doing it the way they are. Their objective is to lower the price of this thin market to start up some panic selling and scoop up any panic sells they can. They have achieved this somewhat but again it is such a very thin market with most people just holding qrk for long term there is simply not much for sale.
Because of this it is so easy for price to be pumped to the sky or dumped to the ground. Really 10-15 BTC or equiv QRK can make or break the tiny market. However really this is pointless because the big qrk holders will never sell for a loss because the big players simply don't need too, you can be sure they hold vast amounts of BTC and others to hedge with, and the only people drawn into panic sell and buy are noobs. So the real price for QRK in any volume never really changes. Try and buy 5M under 8000. I guess they are hoping for some major panic sells tomorrow. Don't think it will happen, but if it did.... i would not complain at all
Anyway i have my buy orders put in and hope and i mean i will be dreaming of scooping up some ..... i shouldn't really be putting more btc into any alts right now because the antigoxing will probably happen any day... but i can't resist a little more. Yes i want more BTC of course but QRk is my number 3 fav and didn't think i would get another chance at this price. If i can expand my holdings by a significant amount for a couple of btc i will enjoy that.
Seriously, i am glued to the exchanges and this board. I see this all the time, but this is way less subtle.

QRK is pretty much fair price at 10,000 for the minting and size of community.
QRK's big mistake like many before them is to try and remove the community from here. DO NOT do this. New blood poors in here and anyone reading around here after a while will be sure to want to pick up some QRK for their portfolio.

It has been suggested before, but would it be possible to introduce a small POS with qrks algos. I have seen POS added to other chain but none of the QRK clones have it?
Even so i wouldn't consider not holding at least 5%-10% of my crypto portfolio in QRK. I think the rocket to 30000 was over done, 10,000 -15,000 was fair at this stage. I see it growing from here, but we do need to pump up the community spirit to the next level. We need a funding pot.
I would totally agree to this kind of thing. Set up a development pot. Put DI in charge of it (if he wants) and get some projects rolling. Contributors to the pot will need to have some kind of reward else we get the same people contributing all of the time and others just sitting back doing nothing.
