Well I see somebody is trying to accumulate cheap Quark with a couple of big sell orders.

I guess there really will be a major upside move at the end of the week.

Sorry to all the sellers here, big mistake. You will surely regret your move.

Who do you think is buying all the Quark that you are selling? Yep the guy with the two big sell orders!!

Hi everyone,

I've been working on making a logo for Quark for awhile now.

...

Interesting logos, the current one looks a bit nuclear don't you guys think? Cheesy

No, it looks awesome. The only cryptocurrency logo which looks like it was made by designer instead of programmer.

Hi everyone,

I've been working on making a logo for Quark for awhile now. I still see a strong future for Quark, but something feels off. I come to the conclusion the visual image didn't stick. After "coin" was removed from Quark itself, it was clear that the devs and the community didn't want this crypto to be part of the copycoin bandwagon. It's not a coin, it's a crypto-currency and the visual image it conveys should match that indefinitely.

After sitting down reading the logo competition posts, I come up with list which I believe contains the fundamentals of modern logo design and the design direction in which the community wants.

  • Confident.
  • Crisp.
  • Clean.
  • Memorable.
  • Solid.
  • Retro (Pixel comes to mind, quarks are small too, design connection?).
  • Small (technically, as in the term).
  • Large/Bold (visually).
  • Uniform.
  • Modern.
  • Future proof.
  • Design Extensible.
  • Retains the original colors of the legacy logo.

I also opted for the seven colour harmony rule which you sometimes hear working in visual direction or graphic design, they way in which I implemented this was for the colors to form a endless rhythmic loop to strengthen the image of longevity. And here it is:

And some animated logos that can be used in several places:

Looking for critique, love it or hate, let me know. Either way though, we need to improve the image of Quark together.

I want to help qrk as much as possible, I don't have many coins, so if you like my work, QhLaYqVK4Uk9tBC9cjA57JNecXaNfn6w6t. ^_^

Anybody knows how to compile a quarkcoin-cpuminer on a 32-bit linux?

It already has a makefile. Just run 'make -j8'.

Doesn't compile on 32-bit, ends with an error:

Bill is recording with Max wish him good thoughts !

You know Zerocoin (library)? If the wallet supports such a feature, it'll replace PPcoin within an hour of release of such a wallet.

Quark is the best crypto till date (technically). I give it 40 points.

Second best is Zetacoin with 36 points (it lost to sha256).

So I'll store my profits earned in Bit/alt coins in Quarks.
