Thats not a very smart idea. Because you can't redeem the coin when needed. First you need to get a list from somewhere and so on so on...
I dont like that.
Uuuuh, you do know that you don't need to know the public key to redeem a coin, right? You only need the private key, which is inside the coin, and from that the public key is generated as well.
Ok, as i understand i can generate the public key from the private key? Is that right?
What i want to ask, can i spend a coin only having it in my hand without access to any list and so on.
Thanks in advance for helping me with knowledge

Not sure about key generation....I just use the address
And yes, you could "spend" a coin without a list. As long as you know/memorize the address and private key.
Easier to just "open" the coin and enter the letters and number.
All though, some makers use a QR-code, so unless you have robot eyes, you wouldn't be able to "read/scan" the code
And, some coins do come with the full address displayed ...depends on the maker/holograms/coin

Thanks Smiley

Yes, any wallet can get the public key from the private key. The private key is the only thing you need to have at hand (and it's always inside an assembled coin). This means that if you have a already assembled coin, you only need to remove the hologram and import the private key. After that you can spend the balance that was on the address linked to the coin.

I hope this helps. Wink

Very nice looking hologram Smiley but i cant understand where i can see a public key here

There is not one. Just the first bits of the address.
You can see a public list of all the of the coins here:
https://ravenbit.com/2015/10/06/amended-node-bronze-public-address-list/

There is also one for the brass coins.

Thanks Smiley

The package from Ravenbit when ordering 20 coins came with:
- 20 Node Bronze coins
- 20 Velvet coin pouches
- 20 Air-Tite Coin Holders
- 1 Air-Tite Coin Tube
- 1 Receipt with Public Keys (not pictured)

For individual coins they will be shipped in the air-tite with velvet pouch.

I got two colors in my roll: a green with * and a blue with ****. The coins are nice. A little bigger than I wanted, but nice. I wish more coins were the original casascius 1 btc size.

Very nice, I had a similar take as well but the hologram just looks awesome!   Grin

I personally do not have an issue with the size as I would rather have the poker chip than a half dollar.  Here are some pictures:

I have individual coins available for users based in the US, please reach out to me via PM if you would like one.  If you are based out of EU and would like individual coins, Mitchell is running a group buy here - [GROUP BUY][EU] Ravenbit NODE Bronze.  Smiley

As expected, Ravenbit did a great job!

I've created an EU group buy for the new coins: [GROUP BUY][EU] Ravenbit NODE Bronze. Same terms and stuff as with my Kialara group buys. Wink

I really like the holograms but can't justify buying a whole roll.
If someone sorts an EU group buy I'd take one or two. However, seeing as the coins have different coloured text on the hologram whoever organises it would need to find a random way to sort out who gets which coin etc. That way everyone has the same chance of getting one of the rarer ones.

I will have a couple spare also.  (US)

Put me down in your mental list as interested in 1 or 2. Just shoot me a PM whenever you find out they've shipped to you to check in, thanks.

Will do, I believe they shipped today and should be arriving by the weekend.

mrbrt...I received your email today for your new NODE Antique Bronze.

Any chance you'll offer the remaining 15 at auction or as individuals?  I'd like one, but don't need 20.

Thanks.
I sent mrbrt a PM asking if he is willing to sell singles as well. If not, well, I guess that I'll have to do a group buy for them as I don't need 20 either. Tongue
I might be interested in getting 1 or 2 in a group buy Smiley (EU)

Very cool, looking forward to the 20 coins (wondering who bought the other 20 so far Grin).

These holograms definitely look spectacular and I can't wait to see them in person; all the other Ravenbit coins were great so far.   Smiley

I nearly bought the pack of 25 when I first got the email so I'm glad I didn't as you refined the pricing structure since the email went out.

Thanks

The original plan was to sell the coins in rolls of 20 (not 25), but I decided to sell them in rolls of 10, and offer discounts for purchases of 20 coins and 100 coins.

Thanks for the clarification, looking at the original email I now realize I thought it was 20 sets of 25 coins instead of 25 sets of 20 coins.  Smiley

I didn't get any emails, but I saw you guys' posts just now and went to RavenBit.com and I must say that the new hologram looks badass! I'm really happy to see RavenBit still going with a new coin series & I definitely want one as well!

That's probably the best looking hologram I've seen released in a little while in my opinion.

Thanks snarlpill - 'tis my favorite too. If you want, pm me your email, so I can add you to my very infrequent mailing list.

For those of you who are collectors and have purchased coins from me in the past I revamped the website to add a list of all coins released along with stats, current availability etc @ https://ravenbit.com/coins/  --- Click the individual coin for more details.

I would be interested in one coin if you do a group buy.  I live in the US.
Ah, that might become expensive for you, as I live in the EU.

I suppose if its my only option to get a single, I'll still do it.  Perhaps if there are several US buyers, one person could distribute the rest to those in the US.

1) I lowered the minimum purchase to 10 coins, since they will be in 10 coin rolls anyway. Volume discounts at 20 coins and 100 coins.
https://ravenbit.com/product/node-bronze/

2) Some of the remaining 15 are used for testing and some will be sent out to be graded. I'll likely (no guarantee) sell the graded coins directly on my website or auction them off on here or both. This is months away though due to the turnaround time.
