Juicin' crypto
The Ravencoin project team has good marketing skills and is credible to investors. Long-term holdings of RVN coins may yield good returns.

Ummm what project team? You mean the DEVs? As that's about it the rest is voluntary. This is pretty much like the old days but with a paid dev team which makes progress a lot faster and smoother.

Ravencoindev made a tweet yesterday that shows the effects of pre- and post-DGW stats.  It's pretty cool to see them side by side.

Will you have an app for iOS or Android? Raven interested me, but it's not always convenient to follow through the browser.

Yes, an iOS app is in development, and should be ready soon.

Never owned even a bit of this coin. Looking forward to take a glimpse at the tech u have under the hood and utility it claims to provide. Solidity contracts is a strong pillar to support the ambience of already kicking developmental process here. I see this could be a platform for asset-building, each asset packed with some features and adding value to raven blockchain. Could survive.

I have no intention to focus on speculative part of the coin but today it was increase in RVN's price which took at above $0.02 at on moment. I wonder what caused this small increase in whether there was something shared or just simple warm up round to keep the community active and awoke up. But have reached the conclusion that it is to give strong message of being active player in the game.

Many countries continue to be wary of cryptocurrencies. They need full control over the turnover of the cryptocurrencies so that they can impose taxes on them. And it is very difficult to realize in real life. Guys, does your token can be purchased in any country?

What is the Dark Gravity Wave difficulty adjustment?

I found some articles on the web, in particular, this one https://coinguides.org/dark-gravity-wave/
Is it the correct explanation?

Raven looks like a very solid crypto. Looks like one of those that didn't lose that much value during this market sentiments. I believe they have a very strong community. Should study it more

I have noticed that you have allocated 5 percent of tokens to unforeseen events! So, what do you consider as unforeseen events?

Friend of mine has still the "old" wallet and is on holiday right now. The fork will already be done, when he is back.
In his holidays no transfers from or to his wallet will happen.

Did I understand the upper description correctly?:
He can update his wallet after the fork, but he have to be sure not to move, transfer or mine any coins to/from this wallet on the old chain in the time between the fork and the point where he perform the wallet update?

What happens if he synch the wallet on the old chain. Can he still update to the new chain? (without any transfers in the meantime, as described above!)

Is the following procedure correct:
1. Backup wallet (without synch???)
2. Download and install new version
3. Import wallet?
4. Synch

The new wallet seems to bring all your old coins in with no problem. I would simply backup the old wallet and install the new one and you should be good. Mine came up with wallet.dat imported automatically.

Lol Craig Wright aint Satoshi. Go read Satoshi’s posts and the white paper. Craig Wright is an attention seeking scammer and Satoshi was the opposite. Doesn’t make sense

I don't know why but I tend to lean towards Hal Finney being Satoshi.

Ugh...net hash is pretty gross right now.   What do you think it averages out at after DGW is in place?  Was it about 1TH before the swings started occurring?

current block height 337,479

fork at 338,778 block height

1,299 block remain

now finding block per minute 0.17

it takes about 7230 minute to reach 338,778

from now, fork will occur about 5 days after

Oh really? How come the 1 minute block time is so far off ?

last hash rush makes diff too hight

and now, very high diff but not enough hash power.

You can see real-time block/min
