Bitcoin's value proposition lies in the ability the tech provides. Remove those abilities and try to provide me a good reason to buy it. Who cares about speculators? They will dump on you all the way down to 0. Didn't you see what happened to all those 2017-2018 ICOs? Didn't you experience the RVN Binance pump? Healthy economics, you say?

In current situation everyone reacting like financial expert it is much easy to predict it will go more down due to big pressure without any bad news. If someone take risk in current situation than he will get more better position and get chance to make big profit in short period.

Altcoins market is performing extraordinary still in comparison to Bitcoin. If we look them in pegging with BTC then the change in Ravencoin and others is slightly less than in fiat. If market reverses here these market will pick up speed to go up. Apparently altcoins season can be expected in spite of all this falling of prices everywhere. This holding of reasonable prices tells many things.

I'm sorry but do you remember 2017??
BTC price reached ATH in the beginning of November 7300$ then by the end of the month had hit 8100$. Following that it hit 17900$ I think is the current ATH. Granted from December 23 onward it dropped off and hasn't recovered. That's a seperate issue, and I believe is more related to a hard correction needed after so much FOMO with minimal adoption to support it.
I'm hoping we see another nice December bump out of this slump, but there's no telling for sure.
As for Raven we are still doing good, price might not be in Lambo country but there's nothing driving a rush there. All you can do is wait for this project to speak for itself and drive the price accordingly.

Next year will be bombastic for this coin this has wonderful support and growth is looking very healthy. I am agreed with you this is really good choice for investment in promising project.
Based on 2017, and now 2018, Christmas time seems like a really bad time for crypto!
At this time in the last two years everything just seems to tank. Raven will bounce back as one of the promising projects but still, might have to got to USDT everytime we get to November from now on!

Many people have hodl’d a coin to zero. Exiting is indeed an option if signals are bad. You can always rebuy if you are a believer long term.

It has become highly unpredictable now, at this stage to say anything. But hope for the best while preparing yourself for the worst in best policy to get through the every situation and this applies to anything. What people were expecting to see bull run by the end of this year that seems over already. Those are waiting for new year to bring back then charm in crypto those I will be backing up. Ravencoin will become more resistant and mature in all this period by then.

It is not only happening with RVN coin the whole ecosystem is under huge sell pressure without any solid reason more likely we are in accumulation phase and big whales are just grabbing from weak hands to fill their bags with more coins at cheap price.

why are there no major rewards/developers/etc and issued fairly to instill trust in the network. making Ravencoin will be safer, i'm pretty good with this.

If you look at the trade history of various exchanges, of course RVN has its own mass of supporters. They are very consistent in maintaining price stability and not participating in dropping prices like other coins.
