Nothing official, but I do have a “pipe dream” I would like to secure an asset name for. I’ve got a couple other ideas that might be fun as well, so I’ll likely try and grab 3 or 4 assets if they’re still available.

It seems like asset will be activated in less than 17h. Get it when you can get it cheap. I game back after assets avtivated.

I'm not sure but, as far as I know from outer cryptocurrencies, one private key can control many public addresses. But if that's the case, I still don't know how can you recover your precious wallet address.

Congrats Ravencoin. Such overwhelming support for the asset activation shows what a great project this is.
I didn't expect to see the vote hit 90% this time! Assets are going live in under 24h!

All this isn't destination but a mean to keep on going. You are right, it looks like talk of yesterday when Ravencoin started from unknown exchange to reach at world's top exchange which is example in itself. It was pure thing of hype at start which brought me here seeing big names among donators. With the passage of time projects started to show potential based on development and its concept.

It is very perfect what Raven did because this coin was very fast to advance into the big exchanges like Bittrex and Binance.
I still remember Raven at CoinExchange and at that time it wasn't on Bittrex.

Yes, the project has protection from asics.
But not from FPGA's, which is basicaly same thing like ASICs, since big farms got FPGA cards and private miners.Changing algo to something like ProgPOW would be only solution IMO.
Progpow, Like ethash, is also working on fpgas..
The only real solution are Algo changes on a regular basis

I calculated wrong before.
1 block is 0,05% and 255 block to go. So 12,75% to get and we finish ~91%. Asset will be activated, because there have been 'no' block for looong time. Maybe who was blocking before don't do it anymore.

Looks like activation is going to pass. There was a community effort to put orders in on NH to tank the lone entity holding up the asset layer activation.
I hadn't heard this side of it. There was someone on Discord speculating this would be when assets would go live. Looks like they will actually go live then because they activate 2016 blocks after the yes vote passes.
I would have to say the rumor is just that because the "No" vote would have probably won out again if the organizing of NH buys hadn't taken place. This round still had something like 178 No votes so they were actively against activation and it would have pushed us well past the 5th of November, if I remember remember correctly.

It looks like that remaining large pool didn't update wallet to latest version which was requested to do so. I just synced my wallet and asset activation status is at 64.09 still far from targeted percentage. I didn't see such process before that's why think will this kind of voting not make issues on important upgrades or introductions of features ? I may not understand how it works.

It appears the next round activation would be on November 6th, but I haven't done the math yet to see if activation is even possible to be locked in (received the total number of "Yes" votes needed), in any time zone on November 5th.
