I forgot after January 8 encrypt wallet. 19th January, I dropped the wallet and opened up to three hours to load blocks. I looked at her and then forgot to turn it off after an hour to start without encryption. Today I noticed that someone had stolen 550 million cents grrrrrr :-(

I think I know where you are going with this... are you testing to see if it sends properly once it has breached the stake threshold but has not yet staked?

Please report back... I am probably going to deactivate staking on my balance so that next week I can also test this out... but as it stands all my inputs have staked since the 20th.

This is precisely what I was thinking, unfortunately my transactions appeared at 12pm UTC January 14 2014, I have a few hours left until I can attempt a transfer. I tried at 00:05 UTC and it was a no go.

Otherwise I do suggest to lock your wallet until then at least to keep it synced.

It has been pointed out a few times already...

There are probably MANY of us on the same chain as Cryptsy... this is not the issue...

It seems if you are sending from any inputs with a date AFTER the Jan 8 cutoff, they will not go anywhere... but people here have confirmed a few times that sending coins from inputs OLDER than Jan 8 are arriving at Cryptsy just fine.

This statement is not entirely true, I was able to send transactions that were from the 13th of January to Cryptsy last night, the ones from the 14th did not make it though. I have a theory that will be tested in a few minutes about the time frame and whether coins will make it or not.

Update on Cryptsy stuff

I finally got in contact with my friend at cryptsy, he confirmed that they are indeed still running the v0.10.0.0-beta client and this is clearly the cause of all the issues.
He has made sure to let paul know he needs to update their client, so those issues should be fixed within a couple days.

Also, as far as I know, there's been no serious consideration or even a thought about setting up a fourth market with pennies. That's just a suggestion some people were making earlier in this thread that seems to have spread as a rumor. I agree that it may be a good idea to have an even lower valued coin then XPM as a market but a Proof of Stake coin is not the one for that job, much to unstable in both value and functionality.

Frankly I think they should redesign the entire exchange to remove "markets" and just let people trade directly on any currency pair, but that would be hell to setup with all these coins.

It has been discussed several times that the majority of people DO seem to be on the same chain as cryptsy, but inputs after Jan 8th do not arrive to/from cryptsy.  I sent a small amount from cryptsy to my wallet the other day and it arrived fine, then I sent several large amounts which never arrived.  I received a reply from cryptsy support today that they are escalating it to the next level of support.. maybe eventually they will figure out the problem, hopefully working with The_Catman.  But it seems to be something other than being on different chains.

I didnt stake them ... is there any way to recover them ? cryptsy will add it or it is lost ?

On the blockchain that you are currently on, I really don't think there's much you can do to get them back (assuming the transactions have been confirmed). That's just the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency.

The way I see it, there's three ways this whole situation could be resolved:

1.) Cryptsy starts working with The_Catman to get us all on their blockchain, in which case all missing CENT sent since the fork will be recovered.

2.) We stick with the current block chain, as everything aside from transactions to Cryptsy seems to function very normally. Unfortunately, for Cryptsy, there will be a considerable mess to clean up on their end, since the CENT/XPM market has been open for more than two weeks on a forked blockchain. There's going to be plenty of people extremely happy that they got XPM for free, and just as many wondering what happened to their Pennies (basically, I go and trade my pennies for XPM on this blockchain, the blockchain switches, and I have all my pennies back and they guy I traded with has nothing and no way of recovering his money).

3.) We end up on yet another blockchain separate from Cryptsy's and the one you are on. Considering the amount of confusion as to who is on what chain, this might be a possibility if you are not at present synced with the standard chain in use, say a month from now. In this case, you will also recover you Pennies.

Cryptsy has confirmed a few times that they were on 10.0.0 beta and when asked about these newer versions... were more than happy to update further.

I feel like the majority of the deposits not making it to them has more to do with the stake change and recent updates than the chain itself... although i am sure that is wrong and it is something do to with the chain and stake and nTime stamps... i just don't know anymore...

Yesterday, The_Catman sounded rather confident that we are not on the same chain as Cryptsy. This would seem reasonable, since a fork would most definitely cause a distinct break in the system, and prevent transactions from going through. I'm not saying there aren't code issues (idk if it's even relevant, but The_Catman has not addressed dragon695's question about it), just that I don't think we're synced with Cryptsy. Please correct me if I'm misinterpreting something.

Yes, I'd given up trying to get in sync with cryptsy as they seem to be blocking direct client connections and refused to respond to any of my inquiries.
It's their responsibility to make sure they're in sync with the proper chain, not mine. If they refuse to actually do their job they can deal with the mess on their end.

Hi guys! I am a HUGE CENT fan, and I've just registered Smiley I'm wondering if this "4th market on Cryptsy" thing is for real or is it just a rumour? Has anyone contacted Cryptsy on that matter?

If this holds true, I'll be more than happy to swallow about half of this 0.00000002 XPM wall. I bought my CENTs @ 0.00000006 Smiley Regards!

I ask the other half of the wall!

I am reading everything but can you tell me just two first transactions are deposit, others one not if i make them in same time almost ?

It is called COIN CONTROL!

Click your Actions menu up top in the Pennies QT... and click Options... on this screen click the Displey tab and find the check box that reads "Display Coin Control Features" and make sure it is checked then click Apply and then OK and then restart you Pennies QT.

Now, when you go to the Transfer Pennies tab... you will see a button labeled Inputs... clicking this will show you the details of you coin groupings as they reside in your wallet. Clicking the + next to the listed items expands them and shows you the inputs and their details.

Now... you can choose which inputs you want to send coins from by checking them and clicking OK. What I am trying to relate is the following, as stated in the last post.

When you choose an input dated PRIOR to Jan 8 and send to Cryptsy... it arrives... the client automatically selected such an input for your small transactions hence why they arrived. When you went to send the large ones... it had to pull in multiple transactions, most likely those with dates AFTER Jan 8 which in theory is why they have not arrived at Cryptsy... go ahead and play around with this... send yourself a small deposit from an older input... and a newer one... see which make it to the exchange.

I have no inputs from before Jan 8... and I cannot get a single input to deposit any amount to Cryptsy... at all.

But I have all my inputs prior to 8 january, i have them from december 2013 ...

Then why ? And how to recover it now ?

I sent some to my second wallet and it is also working, i got transactions ...

Just to clarify... you actually OPENED Coin Control and see they have a December 2013 date?

If they have staked AT ALL then those old inputs were split into new inputs with the additional stake included and then become dated to the current date of when they staked.
