The Rubycoin admins allowed certain pools to jump in early, therefore not assuring a fair launch.  When asked if those pools would be banned from future launches they said no.

Let's face it people this is a scamcoin.

When did they say that? Here in the forum?

In IRC.  Suchpool.pw jumped in several minutes early "accidentally".....when asked if suchpool would be removed from future launches they said no.  When asked if the Ruby Admins have had previous dealings with the suchpool admins they were very evasive.

Given this information one can assume a fix was in from the start, if that is not the case the only responsible thing to do would be remove suchpool from the first half hour or so of the second launch.  They will not do this.  You can only assume the first launch was dirty and the second launch will be as well.  If it wasn't for other issues with the coin this probably would have gone ignored and unnoticed.

Hmm, I have been in the IRC the whole time, you wouldn't happen to be able to post a time stamp? Or approximation of the time this was said?

what exactly is the problem here? They blamed it on themselves that pools started too early, THAT'S why they relaunch. It doesn't matter if those pools get ban or not, pools will not get source earlier this time.

Edit: Just after I posted the above reply, rubycoin has updated their PG 1 with a statement, which addressed the concern with a pool ( unnamed ) that misunderstood the Unfortunately, at least one mining pool began mining early due to a misunderstanding of the procedural launch agreement. I can accept this, as mistakes happen, I'm human..I have made more than my fair share of them, and I'm sure as the years progress, I will make more.

** General FYI for newer miners such as myself ( a few words of common sense) **

In following a coin and its progress, I have found that checking the ANN Page 1 for a coin to be very useful. That is where (usually) you will see the coin developers put updates to the coin and or progress, such as Nodes list, IRC channels, bountys, websites, wallet links, coin specifications and future plans. I have been in the mining arena for not more than 1 month, and still find the ANN page 1 to be one of the most useful resources to check on changes & updates. I have taken part in a few new coin launches at this point, & there are always new miners in the mix, which is fantastic & great for the community & crypto in general. So if you're new like me..and you want to keep up to date with a coin, follow the thread & check the ANN PG1 frequently, if there is an IRC channel join it, that's a good way to get quick updates aswell. Just keep in mind the obvious, don't bank on speculation, & verify everything you think to be true, if 'Ilikecryptoz1234' says somthing like 'its being launched in 3 hours', that does not mean that it's the case. Know who the developers are ( at least by forum/IRC name ) and go by what they say. Every one can speculate, thats the easy thing to do..but verify.

Happy Mining !

you wont see me at relaunch, I already deleted my wallet ... ive seen enough to know there is no team here and just one corny ass coward dev who coingen'd a clone and don't know shit about launches or code ... this is an off the shelf ready made coin ... trust me this coin will go nowhere.

he got called a coward, because he remained silent through all that mess in his own forum!   punk ass!
good luck guys.. happy minning .... go mine some flappy or crapples!

They were in IRC the entire time, live with 200+ people, instead of hiding on a forum, they were dealing with the issues in real time, as expected, by a competent dev, making real time decisions. Your comment is based on 1 avenue of communication. I will take real-time updates over a forum any day of the week. This is 2014 afterall.

If you want to give a feedback on the video I can change the content of the text, more info if needed etc. I could also render it in higher resolution. I was just a little busy last night trying to put it together before launch, hence the lower resolution  Wink
