this shit was made by equalpumps aka big scammer.

stay away or u will get dumped hard.

I don't know anything about twitter pumpers as I don't read twitter or care what they tweet, and I certainly could care less about their drama. Someone I respect says the dev is good. Bot is the best I have used. There is a one year chart history so there is little risk for anyone that knows cryptos.

This looks interesting, I like the concept and presentation of the trading bot. Most of us are terrible at using bots, or compared to others that are great, we are no so great... So, a simple to use one like this might be popular.

Anyway, there is a typo on the Thor screen. The word should be "Appropriate" - clearly just keyed in wrong.

I'm speaking from experience and helping the dev with the bot. a very very large part of your ability to be profitable when daytrading boils down to picking the right market at the right time. I've gotten into several markets using this bot at the right time, but have been very poor in choosing when to exit the market. Considering use of this bot alone has nearly doubled Bittrex's daily trade volume since it was released, I think it'll a great thing for altcoins in general.

Thanks for all the help improving the bot!

Bittrex adds almost any cryptocurrency, which is great for giving new coins a chance to grow, but makes it difficult to select good markets for automated trading. The next version of TraderDaddy has features that make it easier to select good trading markets.

Poloniex will be the next exchange supported, which has much stricter standards for adding coins. Their top 12 markets by volume would ALL do well with TraderDaddy:

I've been working on Rubycoin full-time for more than a year, searching for something that could drive real demand and provide value. Something to give Rubycoin a real purpose. There is no doubt in my mind that TraderDaddy is it. The interest level is truly out of this world. I'm excited to see what happens once it supports Poloniex, Bitfinex, Coinbase, Bitstamp, and BTC-E.

Totally agree. Poloniex has far more long term coins, Bittrex has some, but a lot of short timers too.

I am impressed. You can't just click a bunch of stuff at random and profit, but if you pick the right markets at the right time this is really a no brainer. Normally I have to try and figure out all kind of crap to avoid the other bots screwing me over, now I can just pick the market and the risk level I want, and give it a shot. I also love that when I turn off the bot it cancels everything. A simple thing, but not all bots work that well. It will be *very* interesting if this bot keeps getting better over time. I definitely recommend it for no bot experts that want to try out a bot. Just start with tiny amounts to test, start with maybe a couple markets, and obviously don't enable withdrawals in the API to feel safe. (no point in doing that anyway)

Your bot is killing Ruby. Why invest in a coin that is being actively market sold by a trading bot?

In all honesty, the trader bot is rather simple. You do still have to know what markets to pick and when to get out, but it's not magic behind the trades.

The bot is simple:

1: place 3 buy orders
2: if those buy orders haven't filled, readjust those buy orders every 3-15 minutes based on the aggressiveness settings you have selected in the bot
3: after buy orders are filled place sell orders at a higher price than what you bought at
4 profit ?? ??

Most markets probably have bots in.

Yes. I would bet most of the markets do. seems like any good active market I hit and place an order on immediately gets a new order on top of mine. SO bots are plentiful out there it seems, TD or not.

Must just be my issue with using this bot on a Mac. I am not wrong in saying there is an issue with the Mac version, am I? I know a friend of mine is having success with this on a Linux computer, as well as Windows, so it must just be my operating system.

yes I had trouble running the Mac version also, on 2 different macs.
I put TD on a Linux box and it started to work without incident. Hopefully the Mac version will be fixed soon. Apparently some people such as myself are having trouble and others are not. If you are running a Mac version be sure it is posting orders to both the buy AND sell wall. If not then dont run it. It is not functioning properly if you only get orders on 1 wall !

Yes this would be my issue. Thank you for clarifying... Waiting patiently for an updated Mac version, great work dev

I don't know what you are saying, but TraderDaddy doesn't work like that.

I can confirm that TraderDaddy does not do this.

Dumpers gonna dump. the change in market price has nothing to do with the trader bot. If you're unhappy with the RBY prices, then snatch up enough cheap ones to use the trader bot on a different market. DONE.

A few suggestions...

DON'T use the bot for new altcoins that have just been added to the exchange. History shows that their prices crash quick and don't stabilize for a minimum of a few days. Typically it's best to use high-volume, stable coins that have been listed on the exchange for quite some time. I'm not going to tell you which ones those are though  Tongue Everyone will need to find the market that works best for them based on their budget, how aggressive they want their bot to trade, and what they're willing to bag-hold if the market takes a dump. Trial and Error in many circumstances tends to be the quickest way to learn (speaking from experience).

EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE IS REAL
So after my first 12 hour experience I will be attempting this a second time.

I will be posting a follow up in 12 hours or so with results.

Setup
  • TradderDaddy v0.0.6
  • Mac OS X 10.10.2
  • RBY/BTC market on Bittrex
  • Risk Tolerance: Cautious (low)
  • Budget: 0.09 BTC

Here's my opening balances

Hey dev would you be able to explain the risk tolerance in more detail, thanks.
