Wow there such a drasticly diferent opinions about this coin in this thread. Hard to tell what is the truth and what is just over-expectations towards mining. I don't want to support scam in case oh ruby-team actualy owning most of coins. I would like more facts. Any one ?

This coin is the scam of all scams. I mined all night from what I thought was the release time and only got ten scamcoins. People said they started mining two hours before release. This coin is such a piece of shit.

Hi my first post on these forums and the third coin that I have mined. I just want to add some positivity to this to counter act all of the ridiculous negativity here. This is just my opinion:
1) The coin has attracted signifigant attention and is already generating signifigant income for miners. The price is naturally low at first because of the miners who are timid and too scared that the coin will fail and so they liquidate their holding immediately. The price will rise over time as people gain trust in the coin.
2) Hashrate has so far stayed very smooth in thanks to kimoto gravity well implementation. This is critical to the stability of the coin and security for transactions. Dogecoin doesn't even have KGW yet and it's hashrate has been fluctuating due to multipools.
3) The coin has value if in nothing else but name. The brand image and website are very attractive.
4) The devs have an incentive to not spend the premine frivolously and bring the price down right now which would essentially kill the coin. Unless they are idiots who want a 3 day coin they would not go on the exchange and dump 1.2 million coins.
5) The premine is clearly stated to be for bounties, and there is a thread on r/rubycoin where people can claim bounties. The bounties already promised constitute a significant portion of the premine. 20000 rubycoins are being given away to charity on r/rubycoin.
6) Even if the devs wanted to sell the premine on the market there is simply not enough trade volume to sell it all unless they wanted to make pennies.
7) All coins require trust in the devs, and in the community. The sheer excitement surrounding the release of this coin makes this a strong contender for future gains.
