If you can't figure it out, feel free to share the zip with your friends, and keep a copy for yourself that you can check later. Be sure to read the file 'Information.txt' for important information on how to win and see if the prize has been claimed yet!
Once the prize is won and the contest is over we'll post the transaction ID of the original send so that *everyone* can check the transaction in the blockchain and unlock the zip and access both the wallet and the anon.txt that provides verifiable information on the technique used to hide the transaction.
This isn't an impossible challenge! It was never supposed to be. It's just supposed to be difficult! Someone will find it, guaranteed! The question is, how long will it stand before someone does? What other team has such confidence in their anonymous system that they're willing to put a prize worth over 1btc if you can *guess*, with an unlimited number of guesses, where a transaction actually came from. That's way bigger than making it impossible to create a reliable link between the sender and receiver. That's making it virtually impossible to find the original send in the first place at all. That's more than anonymous. That's insane.
Yeah, you stole this idea from the XC thread, but go ahead and say it's your idea to make a bounty.
The XC team put over 1btc worth of coins in a wallet, zipped it with the transaction ID of the original send, along with verifiable information contained inside of it, and threw it out into the wild?
I saw the bounty that atcsecure put out to find where a send came from some time ago, and I highly respect his work. He is a phenomenal dev and a world class artist of a programmer. But nothing about his system or the bounty he offered was stolen from him, and any similarities are coincidental and completely unintended.
We're not saying it's an impossible task either. The goal isn't for it to be impossible, or make claims that it is. It isn't impossible at all. The goal is to get the community involved and have some fun with the whole thing.
Edit: "say it's your idea to make a bounty."
I wont say that. Because it's not true. There's nothing original about offering a bounty. We were just aiming for a cool execution;)
