WOW, its taking to long, i want to mineeee

is it correct? 22hr left?
That is not.correct it.is about 13 hours and 50 minutes from now

Can the coindev pls speak ?!

13h:47mins from now is 1 AM GMT+1 (I still ask why?)
22h would be in the morning which is more reasonable for a EU based coin IMHO

This is the correct one.

May I ask, if the timer is correct, why a coin, backed from a eu based spanish forum is launching in the freaking middle of the night ? 3am for europe ?

Maybe standard GMT +0...

Spain is GMT+1 , so the launch will be at 1AM here.

You may need more ram for running vertminer correctly.

8gb should be enough?

Sure

I hope this coin launches without any glitches as it seems quite popular and could do well.

I've got a couple of newbie questions.

Do I use vertminer for this (Taken from the vertcoin site)?

And does anyone have a typical script for a 280x for this coin?

All I have so far is I start with --scrypt-vert

Smiley

Cheers.

Sure, try this:

vertminer -o address -u user -p pass --scrypt-vert --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune -20

--thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1020 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-100 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-

overheat 85 --temp-target 75 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --failover-only

Use vertminer 0.5.3

Thank you very much.

I see people use cgminer for this as well. Is it compatible over both miners? or is the cgminer an adapted version?

I think you are talking about.cgminer aleks version, I have tested it with vertcoin.but it is not stable, many HW

Sorry I'm confused, you received many HW with the above configuration with vertcoin or with cgminer?

I'll stick with vertminer and aim for about 330kh/s. I think that would be about right.
