Actually there's nothing to add! I just spent about 2 hours combing for stuff you might have missed and didn't really find anything new. You presented more than enough evidence to ascertain that Safex is a scam:

- copy/paste code and documentation
- dev is co-founder of scamcoin (modeled after OneCoin; there is zero chance nobody behind it thought it wasn't a scam)
- abandonment of roadmap, exchange support, promises

Sorry for your losses but the real crime will be if Dabek just moves on to the next project unscathed.

He's obviously a bright guy. If only he had put 1/10th as much effort into developing his product as he did trying to sell it, it might have worked out. However, he never intended to make anything in the first place (except for money) so the project was doomed from the start.


Sociopathy is thought to be due to slight aberrations in the development of the prefrontal cortex, which is the most human part of the brain. This part is not found in any other specie and what separates us from apes, by giving us empathy, compassion and higher reasoning abilities.

Sociopaths are neurobiologically incapable of registering feelings that power-driven individuals might find "pesky", such as remorse, guilt, shame, etc... You know, things that would slow down a normal person.

This type of douchebaggery in crypto needs to come to an end. It encourages the wrong people to get into crypto for the wrong reasons and gives the rest of us a bad name.

I saw Daniel Dabek was at the Miami conference targeting victims trying to corner them and then brain wash them with his SAFEX scam, but he was unsuccessful.

What a load of nonsense I have read so far... Everything about this project is red flagged, regardless if it is a scam or not. Just dig through the Safex forum (http://forum.safex.org/) and this thread and you'll understand.

By the time Safex (token or coin) hits 500 sat, I'll check back in. So I guess this is my first and immediately last entry in this thread. What a cluster F...

You are not alone, just take screenshots and in case something happen tell authorities that you stopped promoting SAFEX when you found for third party channels that Safex is a scam. But is wrong & i agree with you, Daniel needs to tell his investors that SAFEX is a scam, i think he needs to do this by law.

I been holding SAFEX since 2017, i have to say that many things started to look like scam to me since Richard Bate left, around that time Stephen Kines disappeared without an explanation, he was presented to us by Dan as Xcalibra founder and CEO and as SAFEX investor, what Richard and Kines knew that we don't? it seems like they don't wanted to be involved in what was about to come.

This is what i find evil malicious about Daniel Dabek and his company SAFEX:
Daniel Dabek had two years to tell Joey to stop using his logo and brand, but instead he waited for the right moment that Joey's wife was pregnant to sue.
The lawsuit was for copyright infringement & for defamation.
Why Daniel Dabek needed to sue Joey for copyright infringement? logical thing to do is approach Joey and ask him to stop using his brand, something that Daniel Dabek never did, he instead blocked him in social media and kick him from Discord, there is evidence that Daniel Dabek block anyone who ask questions.
The Defamation part of the lawsuit was because Joey was quoting Dabek on social media, saying that SAFEX is similar to Silk Road or that it has connections with other scams like Dascoin.
But why Daniel Dabek sued Joey for defamation? It is obvious that Daniel Dabek acted malicious to sue Joey instead of Briatore.
In a declaration Daniel Dabek lied in court, he said Safex was not intended to be like Silk Road.

But his website shows that he marketed his project as Anonymous Marketplace, the same definition of Silk Road or Alphabay, for some reason Daniel Dabek changed the name of SAFEX several times, he call it SAFEX, SEC, Safe Exchange, Chilli, Safex Cash, Safex Token, Safex Marketplace, The World Marketplace, TWM, etc.

It seems like lawyers realized that Daniel fuck it up in his declaration and ask Dabek to admit that SAFEX is a scam and it was going to be like Silk Road or could face jail time for lying in court.

What Daniel Dabek did?
He from the beginning of the lawsuit knew SAFEX needed to be censored and centralized if he want to continue with his scam of selling SAFEX coins to investors.
Why this happened?
I think Daniel Dabek got advice from a close person to harm joey economically in a lawsuit, Daniel Dabek hired some lawyers and tried to ask for compensation because he thinks that exposing his scams is a crime, that's when the Judge Beryl A Howell come in, she is very important in Crypto and Darkweb crimes, she was the Judge in Silk Road & Alphabay, there was no reason for her to be in a stupid Copyright lawsuit, but it was chosen because probably authorities have under surveillance Daniel Dabek & other SAFEX scammers. So what happened in the lawsuit? Joey was granted to defend himself per se without lawyers, this is very important because probably the judge realized that Daniel Dabek was acting malicious against a handicapped family with no economical resources to hire a lawyer.
At the end Joey won the lawsuit and SAFEX ended up with a bunch of evidence that will be used against them in the future, also because SAFEX lost the lawsuit it will need to pay for all the fees.
My sincere admiration to Joey who defended himself against four lawyers, Daniel Dabek, psychos, revenge porn, dead threads & more.

The lawsuit was for Copyright infringement and for defamation, the Judge has granted Dabek with the copyright claim but denied defamation.
Because SAFEX lost it will need to pay approximately $50k in fees.
