I think for me is the fail prevention mechanism. so you get a pool to fund the whole process in case bitcoin dropped lower than the set value and the halt if the pool was exhausted.

Indeed and maybe it helps to improve the bad reputation of crypto mining. If Securix only use overproduced and green energy for their business.
